I’m on day four of recovery and honestly, I’m feeling great. I’ve had no pain, but they have felt very tight and achy. I had read on hear about people not taking or stopping taking the Co-dydramol painkillers. I mentioned this to the doctor who was discharging me and he said that I was to take them as instructed for two days, then I could stop. I done this and I believe it has helped, apart from being constipated so I now look like I’m four months pregnant! I’m able to move around and do stuff with little discomfort. I even managed to lift my arms and braid my hair last night with again, no discomfort. I am worrying though as my incisions (or where I believe my incisions are, under the bandages) sometimes feels tight as if something is digging into them. When I first got home, I felt like everytime I stood up to go to the toilet, I was pulling the incision apart. I’ve been told that this is completely normal, so I’m trying to reassure myself!
