Under the muscle or over? Started by: Amy

Hi, I’ve just had my final consultation with my surgeon and we discussed over or under as I was unsure too.
Under the muscle gives a more natural look and has less chance of dropping/sagging as the muscle is covering the implant but recovery time is slightly longer.
Over the muscle gives more of a round faker look (depending on size) & quicker recover time.
If you go under the muscle you lose the size only slightly so if you go with unders go slightly bigger than overs.

hey hun i had unders but primarily because my surgeon told me because i had little breast tissue and thin skin it would reduce the risk of rippling, being able to see the implants or any complications after surgery. i am small framed as well so they suited my frame better, only downfall is the breast band which reduces my ability to breathe but helps my boobs to drop 🙂 go for whatever you think would look best and your surgeon will help you also xx
