Hi girls is it normal to still not be able to move out of bed I feel like a stiff ironing board and when I do manage to pop the toilet or down the stairs to get something it really hurts all on my chest I feel like a hunchback!! Also this morning I’ve noticed my one boob looks more swollen and hurts more I’m sure I heard abit of a squidgy sound – sorry hard to explain lol xx

you might be a bit stiff because you’re holding yourself a bit different to how you normally would, i was really tense and couldn’t relax so i felt really stiff and horrible especially first thing in the morning. if you have concerns about more pain in one of your boobs, best to give your nurse a call or an email with a picture? my boob made a weird kind of fart noise the other day haha apparently it’s completely normal! xx

Yes all normal for 3 days PO. Took me a good week to feel less stiff! I was almost constantly holding my boobs almost if ever I moved or got up! Had bad back ache too! Hang in there, it gets much easier. X

I am so stiff I’ve been stiff since I come out of surgery cos when dr Andrea come to see me after he told me to relax cos my shoulders where sticking up near my cheeks lol I’m not that bad now just finding it very hard to move I have to keep giving my boyfriend a shout to help me out of bed

I keep getting like little shooting pains in my boobs aswell not sure if this is normal either? X

yeah shooting pains are just from your body trying to repair the cut nerves and vessels, it’ll last for a little bit but if you eat lots of protein it’ll speed up recovery 🙂 i have been eating lots of chicken for protein and seeded bread and cereals for fibre to help when i felt bunged up and bloated xx
