    Hi girls.

    Im now one and a half weeks post op and am rally pleased with the overall result, but i am having some really werid pains / feelings and i dont recall reading anyone elses posts to say that they have been experiencing the same sensations as me – so anyone that is / has – I would really appreciate some input.

    My skin on the top of each breast is really sore, like its been burnt and is very sensitive to touch. Also the skin is a little red.

    Has anyone else experienced a similar sensation in their breasts? If so, I would really appreicate any feedback on whether this is normal or if i should talk to my nurse.

    hi kelly im 3 weeks post op n my skin is still sore to the touch, infact im still numb in places, i have wierd nipple sensations that i never got before.. your only one n half weeks, so i would not worry, i felt like air was moving about inside.. you do get wierd sensations..x

    Hi Kelly

    I’m sure that it’s probably just the skin stretching, i had like a strange burning sensation for a little while.My nipples were also extra sensitive! If you’re worried, i would phone the clinic and chat to the nurse, I’m sure she can put your mind at rest x

    Thanks for the comments girls. Every morning i wake up the sensations have changed, but I have had these werid feelings now for a few days as was getting a bit worried. It is getting uncomfortable to even wear clothes and material touching my skin is sometimes too sensitive.

    I’ll leave it a few days and if no improvements i will give the MYA nurse a call.

    yesi would do that,there there to put your mind at rest.. its a panic isnt it, i worry at every move i make n if i feel anything.. im aching this week as went back to work, n im a hairdresser. oh it was hard.. it will get easier.. my neck n shoulders kill, must be the heavy boobs, lol..x

    hi i had alot of help, i managed to avoid blowdrying, got my girls to do it for me, i took it steady, they will tell you if your doing too much, i felt a burning in my scars n they got heavy..x
