Hi hollie, I was a little nervous about driving tbh, I drove 11 days post op and it was ok though my left boob doesn’t seem to like 3rd and especially 5th gear!! I think it just depends on how your healing and how you feel Xx
They said you shouldn’t drive for two weeks, if you feel up to it before you must be able to do an emergence stop . I tried driving day 13 post op it was a little uncomfortable pulling on my upper muscle in Breast. Then hubby adjusted my steering wheel to make it easier, Mine is automatic so I’m lucky?
Yeh i was told 2 weeks but i drove on day 9 as i was demented and felt ok, i just made sure i didnt go far and it was a quiet time of day the first time i went out just incase x
Thanks girls! I’m 9 days post op today and hoping to drive tomorow,only a short distance. I feel okay and am managing to do normal things,I’ve got lots of movement in my arms etc. So just wanted to no really xx
I started driving again day 4 post op, I thought I was only 1 week we weren’t meant to drive, now I realise I was super naughty ??. But I never had any pain and my car is really easy to drive so I felt fine, the first couple of times I just took it easy. Cx
