Any ladies had the term Pectus carinatum mentioned to them by their surgeon? and if so do you have any PO pics? A surgeon I saw previously (Not Dr Andrea whom I had my surgery with 5 weeks ago) mentioned that I had mild Pectus carinatum also know as pigeon chest, where by chest wall sticks out a little and my boobs sit a little further apart so it’s harder to achieve a natural cleavage. I’m 5 wks PO now and my boobs are a great size but are still hard so I cant push them together, just wondering if I ever will be able to or if they will always sit apart? xx

I didn’t get it mentioned by my surgeon but my chest wall does stick quite far out and I was really conscious about it for a while. I’ll try add a pic, you can’t really notice it any more since my op though. My boobs got soft around 4 and a half weeks xx

Hi Jess, thanks for your reply. Your before picture is similar to how I was, your cup size just looks a little bigger. So you don’t notice now? And you get get a good cleavage? My boobs haven’t softened much or dropped yet (you can still clearly see my incision straight on) and I’m conccious my nipples point out to the side slightly as apposed to head on. I think that will change when they drop xx

I can push them together to get a cleavage if I try, not been bra shopping yet as I’m only just 6 weeks post op xx
