I am booked in for an uplift on the 4th August and am starting to get nervous already. I’m worried about the pain and even stupid things like waking up mid op. Can anyone talk me through what to expect from turning up for the op till recovery. How bad is the pain post op. I’m booked in for a spa day 3 weeks after my op and also wonder if I should cancel it. Don’t plan on going swimming but was hoping to at least sit or stand in the pool. Sorry for all the questions.

Hey I’m day 2 of recovery from uplift and implants, the pain isn’t that bad honestly, I’m more struggling with getting comfortable and boredom. I was with Mr Max Marcellino and was operated on in London. They were amazing looked after me x

I’m not having implants so I’m hoping the recovery will be easier as I’ve read a lift hurt’s less post op than having implants

Hi, I had just an uplift yesterday , having implants in 6 months time. The pain isn’t too bad at all a lot less than I was expecting. The anaesthetic literally works straight away and you will be awake before you know it. Felt more dizzy and sick for a few hours rather in any pain as they give you morphine during the op. I had some tramadol and anti sickness tablets at at 10pm as I started to feel a bit of pain, but it was more an achy pain rather than a sharp pain. I’ve had the drains in all night, and some pads strapped round my legs which constantly vibrate to help with the circulation, and this has been the most annoying thing as they kept me awake and kept making my jump when I was drifting off! Asked the nurse to finally take them off about 2am this morning, so I’ve managed to get a few hours sleep. I am tired more than anything else! Also means I can now take myself to the toilet rather than keep ringing the bell! Also I was really thirsty when coming out of the op, I also hadn’t drunk anything all morning and I didn’t go down for my op until 2.45.
Hope this helps a little bit x
