Quick little update – they took me to theatre just after 7, there was a really rushed moment where three staff were doing things to me all at the same time, I can’t remember at what point I was given the anaesthetic as there was so much going on all at once! The next thing i remember is waking and feeling EXTREMELY dizzy. Someone was saying to me that the first thing the girls usually do is look down at their new additions, and was surprised i hadn’t looked yet. I would have if my head wasn’t spinning! Someone had put my glasses on for me but my vision was blurred and I felt awful.
I had to be given to oxygen and my blood pressure kept dropping so I’ve been brought lots of water, I have a horrible dry mouth but oxygens fine and blood pressure is stable again so they’re going to order my food ?
I’m not in pain, but my chest aches and the band is pretty tight, otherwise generally feeling okay. Still dizzy though, and between staff coming in and out I keep dozing.
I haven’t taken a peek yet, I’m still not totally with it but I can’t wait ?
