    I’m having my op in Preston in movement but live over 2 hours away. I’ve seen someone post on here that you need to be within 20 minutes of the hospital. Is this true ? Xx

    Hey. If you live over an hour away from the hospital you are advised not to go home for the first night post op. However, many girls choose to travel home even if it’s over an hour away and they are fine. If MYA had any reason to believe there might be complications they would advise you to stay in.
    My op is also booked for November and I’m about 2.5 hours from the hospital and am traveling home the same day. I have mad my PC aware of this just in case they had any major objections.
