I have ordered bras and a v shape pillow. What clothes do you recommend for wearing after surgery e.g. Certain style pj’/, vest top’s shirts etc? Having my op in Dec so assuming will be cold 🙂

Hey Jules my op is in Dec too.. From what I’ve read here zippy tops and loose clothing is the way forward. I’m planning on strutting my stuff in onesies and tracksuit bottoms for the first five or so days. Primark have released loads for the new season and they’re real comfy esp the hooded ones. Food wise because I’m going under the muscle I’m going for a high protein diet to help the muscle grow and repair and lots of fresh veg/soups and fruit. Hope tht helps Fx

Button up pjs were my lifesaver, I didn’t leave the house for days so I lived in them! Also a bed back rest (I got mine from Argos) makes sleeping so much easier, I used that a couple of pillows and a v pillow and I had no issues sleeping x

I found wearing the long stretchy vest tops from primark (only £3!) was easier as you can step into them and don’t have to move your arms much to get into them. And loose trackies as pulling trousers up is a bit of a pain the first couple of days so anything tight is a no go!
V pillow is the best I’m 6 weeks post op in a couple of days and still sleep on it it’s the comfiest thing ever I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it now!

That’s the link to the backrest that I got. Just makes sleeping at an upright angle so much easier and comfier x
