Hi everyone, I am going for my first consultation on the 28th Nov, I, not really too sure what questions I need to ask, also how did everyone decide to go with MYA? What made you think that they were the right place to go? Any help will be appreciated. Thnk you!!!!
My PC was great made me feel excited about it all and then when I researched the surgeon she recommended I just knew I had to go with MYA, the nurse looking after me is the best by far one of the best people I’ve seen at Mya she’s honest and reliable. The only down fall for me is the fact my op is tomorrow and still no idea what my admission time is.
I went to mya as they were local and reasonably priced, it was completely the wrong attitude and I wish I’d researched more…
6 years on, I wouldn’t say to go with them just as a company, you need to research the actual surgeon.
From my own experiences I would say there’s surgeons to go to and surgeons to avoid and the final decision of the results and re-ops seems to be the decision of the chosen surgeon.
All results vary depending on who does the surgery so look around the forum for pictures, aftercare experience and then ask who did the op.
I would really rate Mounir and Traynor (not sure if still at MYA) – if I’d not had a bad experience with my first BA I would’ve had a 2nd op with Mounir but didn’t want to spend another penny here 🙁
What surgeon did you first have @em2010
Mr Kazazzi, I am by no means saying he’s not a good surgeon but he wasn’t anywhere near as thorough as surgeons I have had consultations with since then, nor did he want to correct the way my boobs ended up. I do know that other surgeons within the company are much better at agreeing to fixing issues, he said my assymetry that I didn’t have prior to my 1st op was ‘text book’, something you don’t expect when you’ve spent £4k!!!
highly recommend Linda fiumara she specializes in the natural look im inlove with mine ! 🙂 xx
Hi Kayleigh, What clinic do did you go to? What size were you before and what are you now?
Thanks Kelsey, I’m glad everything went ok for you! What happens on he first consultation? I have a list of questions (about 100!!) A bit overboard I know, I am just so nervous and have only had mya recommended by one friend, I have been on here every minute I can to see what everyone says about them! How long did you wait between all of your appointments? I want to aim for my op beginning of next year if I can! Keep me updated on your progress 🙂
My initial consultation was in21st of October and the surgeon few days after then booked in for 22nd November. So it went super quick for Me, my Mya nurse called me today to check up on me so I’ve been getting a lot of Care and I am super fussy and always find something to complain about. I didn’t have much questions I let them tell me what I needed to know rather than what I wanted to hear lol. I feel like I’ve gone too small at the moment though which is strange but will see. No doubt you could get in for Jan x
Oh wow that was really quick! Hopefully if all goes well I will be booked in January, altough that makes me a little nervous as it’s not actually that far away! Have you got any pictures of before and after? I’m so glad they have this forum it is so reasurring hearing about everyone’s journeys!
