Ahh I had this so feel your pain! The treatment works though so as long as you stick to it you won’t have to wait too much longer! I searched google for tips to make sure it worked and there’s lots about changing towels etc so may be worth a look! Hope it works out for you! Xxx

It’s perfectly normal, some people just carry the bacteria and some people don’t.
I got the news on a Friday, got the medication on Saturday and was clear by the Monday. Waiting for the third swab to come back.
It definitely works so don’t lose faith 🙂 xxxx

Sorry Donna I didn’t explain myself very cleary…its quite hard on here you can’t really see the whole box as you’re typing!

I meant that I have been tested three weeks apart i’ve literally just had my third one this week and awaiting the results.
I found out one friday 3 weeks ago that i had the bug and I collected the medication that Saturday and had my first test on the Monday which cam back clear. What i mean to say is the medication is worth every penny it works straight away.

Honestly, its more normal than you think. It’s great they are so strict about it and so helpful in helping you get rid of it!
Give it a few weeks you will honestly be fine. i stopped worrying after the first test you’re doing what is necessary to keep yourself safe…just make sure you use the medication provided and you will be absolutely fine 🙂

@donnaxx – I have it too!! found out about an hour ago!!
i’ve been crying so much, i knew i’d get it though cause im also a carer in the community, plus work in a hospital as well as a student.
I don’t know how it’s ever gonna go? like what if im negative the first 2 times and then i catch it again on the last swab!
do you Pay for the treatment?

Yes absolutely devastating!! i’m gonna be so depressed on the day of my ‘surgery’ cause i’ll be sitting at home bored, thnking ‘id of had nice boobs by now’ but i will have to wait another 3 weeks after that..
Ah i’m glad youre over it, hopefully i’ll come to terms with it soon haha
do you do the swabs at home and send them off? or do you have t go into the gp every week?
