Hi girls
I have my admission time now it’s 8:00am on Sunday
Just wanting to know what peoples experiences so early in the morning are and what the general time of discharge people experienced
Thanks in advance
I also had 8am admission. At Preston first trust. Im so glad i had it. There was no waiting around, i was also first on the list. All went plain sailing and i was discharged at about 2.30pm xxx
I think I’m in for a loooong day my admission times not till 12:00 -_- x
I’m hoping the traffic to the hospital isn’t going to be too bad what with it being a Sunday.
i was in for a total of 12 hours, as i struggled to pee post op! so it depends on recovery. you need to be able to eat and drink, and pee! xx
Ah right so it’s mostly dependant on how well your body copes etc not nesseserily what time your admission or op time. X
It’s how your body copes also who your surgeon is and if he wants to see you both you go, my admission was 7am I was first in the list went into theatre about 9am I think we got discharged about 6pm as we were waiting for the doctor to come out of theatre to prescribe memy meds to take home
I was at Preston with dr traynor 8 am admission first in and had no issues left 2 ish .
I know this is going to sound stupid cause I know but is it deffo 6 hours no eating before admission my mum is determined it’s the night before. Im in at 12 tomorrow x
It’s 6 hours Hun. Then sips of water upto 2 hours before … ( I think ) it will also be on your paperwork. But eating I’m sure is 6 hours
It is 6 hours Hun, but also heard that if you eat a lot 6 hours before then you will be more sick after, so best to just have something light x
Ahhh, you’ll be fine. The staff at the hospital were so lovely, I would do it again tomorrow, Good luck x
