I had my initial consultation with Mr Mounir in early January and he advised overs. Now he’s had to have an op, I’ve moved my surgery to Mr Traynor and had my consultation yesterday. Absolutely lovely man! He suggested I may get a better look from unders or partials.
I’ve chosen 400cc left breast and 375cc in the right. Any of you ladies have any pictures or advise?
I had similar with different surgeons – the second said partials also known as dual plane as will be better in the long run .. I went with the surgeons advice as he is the one doing it. I would have preferred overs due to less pain lol .. but the partials have more added benefits .. just google the question and you get really good answers come up from doctors on real self.. at the end of the day both will look good..
P.S im only commenting on what ive read as Im having op tomoro so cant speak from experience but think its the long term benefits of less future complications .. saying that if given a choice id still go for overs x
You’ll have to let me know how the recovery is!! I’m trusting the surgeons recommendations as it’s his specialty not mine!!

Yes that was what I thought .. they know there stuff dont they .. mine explained it wasnt for me decide high profile or mod or whatever etc.. it was all to do with measurements. I respected him for this .. Im having 350cc moderate plus.. I dont know how i will sleep tonight Im a nervous wreck! Im just sorting clothes out for next week so I dont have to try and reach up high in my wardrobe .. From all the different things ive read, it seems like everyone recovers differently.. fingers crossed x
Hi guys, my PS told me that for me overs were really not an option due to lack of tissue on my upper pole which meant overs would in all probability show the edge of the implant. I was terrified of having the posh spice look and told her this!!!
I’m booked for 350/375 mod+ unders – mod + because of the width of my chest.

I was supposed to have Mounir also until he went on the sick. I’ll be seeing Traynor next week. I’m due to get 350cc ultra high profile overs with uplift. Even if Traynors thoughts are different I was more than happy with what Mounir suggested and not so much about he size. It was the other info he gave me that went along with the size. We could see 5-6 surgeons and most would tell us something different as they have different views.
Thanks Im having similar to you 350cc moderate plus due to width of chest .. im awake early excited and nervous so been playing around sorting my pillows. Ive just tried my wedge pillow actually under the mattress .. and it is so comfy.. its a dream, hopefully stil as comfy after opp .. but has just lifted my own mattress now to the 45% without fiddling around with pillows – bet your excited for your op the time will fly x
@Louise your profile also depends on your chest width/size and the desired projection of your breast etc. The higher the profile the narrower the base, the lower the profile the wider the base.
Ultimately it’s your surgeons job to pick the profile that suits your body and what they can actually fit into it.
Hey ladies! I decided on 400cc left and 375cc right high profile unders, I’m absolutely bricking it!! I bodybuild so my muscles are really tight already and I’m hoping that’s not going to make recovery more painful, I’m such a wuss!! Xx
Hey Vici im seeing mr traynor this Tuesday, my op also got cancelled with mr mounir. My op is now on the 20th when is yours? I’ve also started to feel abit nervous haha, I’m just dreading the pain after 🙁 I know it’ll all be worth it in the end though 🙂 xx
You all be fine I had 400cc unders 10 days ago and I’m a gym freak .. just take it steady stay in bed for first week ! It’s painful but be worth it! First week hard but after that it gets easier .. depending what job you do don’t rush back to work go back when your fully ready. Get your Netflix’s tv on and I defiantly recommend a v pillow! Best thing ever xx
