I know what you mean jessikah,
my tape is coming off tomorrow and i can’t wait, not only because i will get to see my mew twins at last but to stop these really horrible itching x x x
Hi Parisa
Yes i am very happy with Mr Singh’s work i had no bruisirg and my scars are very faint, i think he is an amazing surgeon know’s how to give you the results your after, sorry i haven’t got any pics but take my word for it they look great.
Good Luck xx
Yes everything became a lot easier once it had come off, it was a lovely feeling and don’t worry if they look a bit pointy to start with, by the next day they will start going back to normal shape x x x
hi girls!
i had my op on saturday & i’m getting my tape taken off by the nurse on thursday. i was just wondering if when you get the tape off, is that when you start to feel more normal & able to do more things? xxx
just realised you have answered all the questions i just asked on the other post on here! I’m an idiot!! Thanks hun!!xx
Jessikah
One of mine is slightly higher and the nurse said it’s only because one is heeling faster than the other, nothing to worry about.
She asked me if i wanted to see the where the stitches were but i said no, was feeling faint anyway and that would not have helped, my fella had a look though and said that they looked really good, just like small dark lines (smaller than a little finger).
She has put one piece of small tape over it now and that is it, which i can remove on Tuesday, and guess what i can now have a lovely long shower, as long as i dry the incisions with a hair-dryer.
Hope yours goes well x x x
Congrats Alex,
I phoned the nurse earlier and she said I can take most of mine off, just leave it over where the scars are. It does really hurt doesnt it, especially round the back and my sides I found.
My boobs look much better with the tape off, I think one looks higher than the other tho?! Have to see how that settles!
Did you get to see where you stiches are and what they look like, i’m so scared mine are just going to be huge.
Also do you have anything covering the stiches now?!
I’m not seeing the nurse till tues… cant bloody wait!xxx
OMG,
I had my tape removed today that has to be the worst pain i have ever experienced, like one massive plaster but extra extra sticky.
I would of preferred doing it myself, like mentioned above uses a hairdryer or something.
Never mind all done know, and i must say they look FABULOUS, i even laid down and i still had a wicked pair of boobies . yeah
x x x
hi tracy
im going to have my op in december. just wanted to no if ur happy with dr singhs work, and do u have any pix i cud see?
parisa
ohhh that helps, thanks ladies,
Thats what i’m worried about, the amount that its itching i’m scared that i’m going to have a reaction! I did speak to a mys nurse who said I can take it off myself friday (6days post op) however its been itching so much tonight i’ve removed the bits at the top and left the bits on the bottom until tomorrow. I’l phone the nurse again tomorrow and make sure before I take it all off but as alex said she’s having her’s off tomorrow and we had the BA the same day. I just cant get to see my nurse until 10 days post op as she doesnt work weekends and i cant get monday off work! Theres no way i can leave it all on another 5 days i’l be red raw!!
Thats really put my mind at rest, thank you!
xxx
p.s does anyone know what it does and why some surgeons use it and some dont?!
oh i remember that tape well, it drove me crazy, i rang nurse to take it off early, but she couldnt, i had it on 8 days, relief i tell ya, i then got an allergy to the sticky stuff left on my skin, i was so sore for another week at least.. glad its over now..its all worth it though..x
Hi Girls
I had my BA with Mr singh on a Friday and was going back to work on the Tuesday after, he taped me up and i asked him if it would be ok to remove the tape for work he said 4 day’s with it on would be fine and to use a hair dryer to take it off ?So off it came on the Monday night.
XX
Hey girls how long is it it until u can drive?
xx
I was not cold at all, was breathing normally and wasnt shievering. I’m really pleased i dont have even a little reaction to GA apart from telling the nurse i loved her!:boogie::rolling::cheer::cheer::bigsmile::bigsmile::wink:
Hia girls,
Just wondering if anyone else has this horrible tape bound around them?! I know some people do and some don’t but I’m just wondering how long it has to stay on for, its soo itchy now (5 days post op) and really irritating me.
I’m not seeing the nurse until tues as she doesnt work weekends and I can then only get tuesday off – by then I’l be 10 days post op but surely it can come off sooner!!?!!?!
xx
yea I had that, dont think they have them in NHS hospitals though, they just left me shiver after my c-sections!!!xx
yeah i always do with anesthetics, think its just the after effect of it, they’ll prob give you a heater to put under ur blanket asweell, it was lovely!! haha x x
nah, doubt you will, I was real shakey and shivering for a couple of hours after but i think thats normal!xx
eeeeeeeeee!!! yeah, i just want it to be over and done with!! i hope i don’t chat rubbish when i’m coming round! lol xxx
I was really worried about what I’d come out with after the anaesthetic as some people said they were talking rubbish bt its nothing like that! You’l be soo glad this time tomorrow when its all done!! YEY… New boobies!!!x
thank you guys  you’ve just made me so much more excited! haha. i get so worried, i’m such a wuss! lol.
hahaha! jessikah, that made me laugh  xxx
I felt exactly the same and I’ve got two small children so I was like, what if I leave them without a mummy!!!
It was fine tho, nothing to worry about, the anaesthesist put the thing in my hand, i looked at the clock then the next thing I knew they were putting this thing blowing hot air under the cover to warm me up and I had new boobs!
The first thing I said when I came round was ” I’ve missed the X factor!” – couldnt have been that bad if thats all i could think about!!xx
you will be fine Becky, i promise you…when you lay on the table its such a weird feeling when you go off to sleep, weird but quite nice in a way, and before you know it you’ll be waking up and realising you have big boobs! hahaha
It will feel like youve only been to sleep for about 20mins! it’ll prob be about an hour and a half by the time you’ve woken up properly etc…everything will be fine x x
awww, glad you’re doing well! as if you’ve been able to do so much, that’s great!!
i’m glad you said that  that’s one thing i’m petrified of!…the anesthetic! i keep thinking what if i don’t wake up?!?! lol. i’ve never had an op before & have no idea what to expect! xxx
God thats good, i havent hardly done anything!! I’m 8 days post op now and still suffering quite a bit, with overs aswell! Think i just take longer to get over things, i’ll get there soon…well done though…xx
Ahhh, I may call her and ask if I can take it off on the weekend, a week post op. Its so uncomfy! I’m scratching my back to death!
My boobies are ok though, i had unders so expected loads of pain however I’ve been pretty good, I’m 5 days post op, I’ve managed to straighten my hair, go into town to pick up a few bits and bobs, take my little boy to school, ( couldnt carry him at all tho obviously!). I dont find it very painful anymore, just a bit akward getting up from bed etc in the morning!
Driving me insane that I cant hoover though, gotta wait for my hubby to come home from work, i’m also dying to have a shower!!!
You’l be fine bec, I was so nervous about having a GA before I went into hospital but its nothing to worry about. It was so surreal it didnt even seem like it was real until after the op, best thing i ever did. I’d do it again in a heartbeat!xx
I count myself lucky really, Mr Adamo doesnt use the tape all around, just puts 2 bits of tape over the stitches, which come off tomorro! I think from what ive heard from everyone else thats had it on them that the nurse takes it all off at your next app x x x
