Hey,
So I haven’t posted for a while so here goes. Tuesday 21st February was my 6week check. I was told that my boobs are healing very well, dropping nicely too. The scars are also fading out perfectly. I have purchased Dermatrix which I can start applying to the scars now. I have also been told I can wear normal underwire bras so took the opportunity to get myself measured and have gone from a 28AA to a 28F/30DD. I’m so pleased. It’s been an emotional journey from start to finish but MYA have been great. I am so glad I chose them as have had support all the way.
My boobs still need to drop some more but this could take up to 6months PO to see full results so just have to be patient. They have softened up loads although there is stil a little swelling on the top half of my boobs.
Here are a few pics at 6WPO
Any questions please ask and il do my best to answer.
Happy healing ladies xx
Hi Zoe, they look amazing! and the scars so tidy! Thanks for posting, im only 12dpo and still have some swelling i think on the top of my left boob so is reassuring to read your post! Iv emailed my nurse anyway just to make sure it is only swelling haha. Cant wait to reach your stage! xxx
Wow Zoe they look great! Bet you’re so happy! I had 400cc mod plus unders 3 days ago. Cannot wait to get the strapping off and see them! Hope they look as good as yours do xx
Hi Zoe they look fab! And wow can’t believe how many cup sizes you’ve gone up from 300cc. I had 325cc mod plus unders from a 30aa. I think they look about a C, but I may be surprised! I get measured in 2 weeks. Mine still have dropping to do and I’m hoping the scars go in the crease as they drop? Coz at the moment can see the scars? Thanks for sharing. Do they seem to have got bigger or smaller in size or not sure? Xx
They look amazing! I am just about to book my consultation I cant wait!
Hi girls. I had my Operation yesterday 300cc mod plus unders. Can you guys share some light on how you were feeling the first few days after. Although I’m taking all my pain relief I’m still in so much pain. Also the white tape my surgery my round my boobs feels so so tight. Like it hurts to breathe tight. Is this normal? If it’s this tight for a week u till I see my nurse I don’t know ow how I’ll cope. Is it meant to be this tight or is it also because of swelling? Any info would be appreciated. X
@Rebecca – congratulations on your new boobs.
Unfortunately the strapping will be that tight for the first week so that they are well supported. It probably feels worse right now as there very swollen. Trust me it does get better. The first two weeks I was in so much pain, I couldn’t do anything for myself, not even pee. I was basically bed bound at all times. I had to stop taking the codiene as I had all the side effects to them. You will also become very bloated too. I would stay it wasn’t until I got the strapping removed and after week two that I felt somewhat normal. Just try to rest. Have you got your Malcom bra on too? And try to remember to sleep upright too as this will help with the swelling. You could also get some Ice packs to apply too.
It will be an emotional journey but all be worth it. There were days when I was contemplating on weather or not it was the right decision for me and 6WPO I can definitely say it was. I hope you start to feel better, drink lots of water and eat lots of protein as this helps with the muscle repair whilst healing..
@charlie2 – thank you I’m very pleased with how there coming along. I think they have got bigger since the procedure as they start to drop they even out then become softer. Mine still have a little way to go but are definitely getting there each and every day. My scars are fading well and I definitely recommend the Dermatrix gel which can be purchased of off amazon and start to be applied from 6WPO.
