So, I have a nose ring and a ring in my ear which I can’t remove myself. When having them changed I have to go to the piercing studio to take them out due to the way they fasten. Mya said that if I can’t remove them on the day they will pop tape on. Just worrying that when I get admitted they may not operate with me having them in.. anyone else had tape over piercings instead or removing them? Xx
Hi Amy, I went to a piercing shop to have all of mine undone as I couldn’t do it myself. They undone the balls that kept the piercings in and then it was just for me to take them out on the day easily. I was told that you could put plastic piercings in if you need to xx
I have nose, lip and top ear – worried about my nose as whenever it’s fallen out it’s started to heal up although not taken out for months – can’t undo my lip so will need to go to shop and have it made loose..xx
I didn’t take mine out for my procedure! The nurses gave me surgical tape and aslong as it’s alll covered it’s fine as I think the tape has a special coating or something! I left my nose ring and tragus in xxx
