hi I’m hoping to book my 1st appointment soon for April, does anyone know if they do Saturday appointments?
I’m also torn between going to Manchester or Chelmsford bit of a difference but Chelmsford is closer but I have family in Manchester who can look after my kids while I have my appointment.
any help is greatly appreciated xx

I just spoke to the patient coordinator and basically spoke about lots of my concerns and about MYA. I’ve booked in to see Dr Marcellino on 31st so I think that will definitely give me a better idea but my PC was so nice and genuine.
I would probably go to one closer to your family if you have the kids! I was only in there for about 45 minutes to an hour xx

No I don’t think so, I’m not really as clued up on this all as some people but if I do go with the procedure, I want it before my holiday in June so I can have the op at beginning of May which is so soon! I think they always have appointments available really from what I’ve noticed so far. I haven’t had to wait long at all x

My first appointment was on a Saturday. They are really nice at Chelmsford also. They pretty much just go through the basics with you at this appointment and let you know about pricing and surgeons. It’s basically just so you can get a feel for what you want and if they can do it for you. I had my surgery in london though, I’m not sure if it’s different in Manchester?
Also, my first appointment was in september last year, I booked my surgeon appointment for mid February and I had my surgery on Friday! You can do things completely at your own pace and take as little or as long as you want in between each part of the journey x

I’m sure you can do that! I was given a figure of £4995 which I’ll probably do through finance. They have different finance options which is all I’ve spoken about in that aspect x

I asked 1 of the online people for mya and they said £4995 but then other people have said different prices think it all depends on sizes and timing I don’t know lol x

I am booked for the end of July, I had my first appointment 3.5 weeks ago and I am meeting my surgeon in April. So I wouldn’t say it was too early for your first appointment. I have had a PC appointment and met a surgeon before 2 years ago though, so I sort of knew what to expect x
