Still no photos to share but thought I’d keep you abreast (pun intended) on my recovery.
Was 34b to begin- I lost volume in Upper breasts after 3 kids. Was a small B! I had 350 cc moderate plus unders.
Day 1 and 2 were horrific. Last night I managed a whole 4 and a half hours sleep. I slept propped on on my sofa with a rolled up blanket under my legs. I had my first lot of pain relief at 7am. The last 2 days it was 5am for the muscle relaxers and then 7am for the rest. Seems to be getting getter.
Mornings are the toughest due to being still for so long but once the pain killers kicked in I manage to get up and walk about.
I’m tapped up and was wearing a sports bra but took it off yesterday to see if it would help and it did. I also loosened the breast band a little. I tightened it up this morning.
Day 3 and things seem to be looking up.
Hope my there boob buddy’s are recovering well too. Xx
Just recieved my M&S high impact sports bra and I cannot believe the difference. I feel so much better supportive. This is what is going to vet me through the next few weeks
Hi Hun have you taken your Macom off now? Glad things are getting better for you 🙂 xxx
Hey Gemma, do you mind me asking what size you went for in the M&S high impact. My Macoms feeling quite tight and digging in slightly to my incisions which isnt feeling too comfortable so gunna go up another back size in the m&s but im struggling what cup to go for and think you may be similar to me as i was a 34A and had 425cc and you were slightly bigger than me and went slightly smaller. Would you say DD? Xx
Hey! I never bought a macom. My PC said they are good but only for the first few weeks. I bought the 2 pack sports bra from M&S £32.50
Because I’m tapped up my boobs didn’t fill the 36dd I bought. The nurse said it was fine because they will fit once they drop and fluff etc. I bought 36D in the M&S high Impact which cost £25. It fits lovely and is very supportive. I cannot see the DD being too much bigger so go for the larger for comfort. I was a 34b (just) and had 350 cc unders. Hope that helps x
Perfect thanks I’ve ordered the 36DD High Impact as the Macom 34″ is feeling abit tight due to swelling! Placed next day delivery so should come tomorrow 🙂 xx
Hi Hun my Macom is very uncomfortable and digging in what bra shall I get from M&S? Hope your feeling better xx
Any from M&S that say High Impact Sports Bra and have the zip up front like the Macom, people have said the waistband in their usual backsize is abit tight so go up another backsize from whatever your Macom is 🙂
Just to let you know girls I bought my normal size back 34 in the M&S sports bra which was also digging in at the sides due to swelling & bruising inside but now all that’s gone it fits perfect! You just have to grim & bear it for a couple of weeks I’m afraid, I tried the next size up which did feel more comfortable but eventually wouldn’t give me the right support the bra fitters said in M&S I’m so glad I listened otherwise it wouldn’t of been any good now I’m 3wpo just remember you need to wear these for the next 6 weeks so just be weary when the swelling goes & I’ve also found my Macom doesn’t really support me no more because it seems like it stretched during swelling also! I’d stick with wearing your Macom for the first 2 weeks & then change into your M&S sports bra I found a lot easier & didn’t waste money x
This is the high impact one I got. I’m usually a 34 but went up to 36 and got a D for extra support.
Hi girls,
I bought the same bra & also the black & pink high impact post surgery one M&S do, I love them, so comfortable & privide great support x
I felt like I could do cartwheels when I put this on today. The support was unreal. I’ve never needed support with my little boobs so I now understand the point of sports bras. Lol. I’m feeling a lot of pain tonight in my left side. Finding it difficult to talk and now have to try to sleep. Just taken my pain meds so hoping they knock me out…onto day 4! Let’s hope it’s better than the last few. Xxx night girls ! Xx
