I think so honey, I’ve obviously had some complications on my right breast but my left is still sore at times. Plus we all heal at different paces. Use ice packs, they really do help.

if you feel it’s getting worse, call mya they are so lovely and will put your mind at rest.

Hope it gets easier darling xxx

Im day 6 too Hayley and still in agony, codeine has done nothing for me since day one so i stopped taking it 2 days ago, i have little shooting pains and burning pain that comes and goes thats not bothering me at all but my main pain has been in my sternum since the op, and like the feeling of cracked ribs, im just putting it down to the amount of swelling ive had and the fact that my top half is so petit, its like a big weight bearing down on me, my incision bandages have a tiny bit of fluid on and a tiny bit of dried blood but im not worried about those at all, the post op bra i had on overnight after my op was tight when they put it on at the hospital but the next day when i took it off it had been seriously digging into me all night as i had swelled, i don’t think that has helped either, my post op check is tomorrow at 12 so im sure they will put my mind at rest then xxx

I’m post op day 5 and have struggled alot today, my boobs arn’t really in any pain but in my right side below my incisions my ribs feel very bruised like ive been hit by a bus! No swelling or brusing seen though just really hurts if I touch or use muscles on that side which didnt hurt in that area before today. Hopefully just part of the healing process.
