I’m having open septorhinoplasty with Dr Andrea on the 6th of June in Manchester and was just wondering about what happens when you’re getting the packing removed the day after your surgery (I think that’s correct this is just what I’ve read on forums, haven’t been told off anyone else). Does this happen at the hospital or at the clinic? As I’m looking to book a hotel to stay overnight if I have to go back to the hospital the next day.
Hi Katie, I have had Andrea I am a week post op. They take your packing out 2 days post op at your local MYA clinic just make sure you make your appointment when you have your pre op with your nurse (that’s when they did mine)
Hey katie, im 2 weeks post op with dr andrea and i also had a septorhinoplasty, my local clinic took the packing out 2 days after.
I got to see my nose this week and it so exciting! can’t wait to see it after the swelling goes down.
