After having my op Sunday I don’t actually feel that bad… managed to have a shallow bath and went the hairdressers to get my hair washed. But over the last few days I’ve become very bloated ? Is this normal ? Any tips to get rid of it x

I was really bloated it’s normal, apparently the anesthesia can cause bloating but also the pain relief. As soon as I stopped my codrydamol and switched to paracetamol I have become less bloated xx

Ah I’ve been the same! I’m 9 days PO and it’s only just started to settle! The co codamol Deffo doesn’t help ๐Ÿ™ peppermint tea and lemon water should help ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

thought I’d put my pennies worth in lol! I’m 11 dpo and still bloated. I’m buying a house and part of getting a mortgage is getting life insurance and had to complete a form which asked my waist size….wellllll needless to say I had to knock a few inches off because I am not a 33 inch waste. I’m still on pain relief because of the haematoma I developed but down to 1 tablet twice a day so hoping it will get better!! xx

The bloating is the worst thing at moment my Macom bra is cutting into me off it, don’t think the recovery would be nowhere near as bad if I didn’t have it just hope it doesn’t last as long as other people have said on here ???? Oh and my husband saying I look like Homer Simpson didn’t help! Haha men!!!

I’m the same! Had my op on Tuesday and I feel like I’ve put on a stone around my stomach! Actually got teary yesterday as my boobs were sore and then felt so bloated and uncomfortable ???? But I’ve been reading – apparently it’s normal! But can take up to 3-4 weeks to subside completely. I was like oh grrrreat but at least you know that it’s normal xx
