Hi all im 4WPO tomorrow, ive not posted for a week as i had what i thought may have been the start of double bubble, i never mentioned it to anybody for the first 5 days (didn’t want to be a drama queen and pester my nurse for nothing and also was probs a bit scared too if im honest) but after 5 days i thought i really should call them because if there is a problem they should know sooner rather than later, anyway panic over! I have over-granulation it’s nothing to worry about at all, basicaly your body over healing it’s self once your allready healed, it leaves a long hard thin lump under your incisions so your incisions look like there much higher than your crease i got the same after my c-section.
So anyway ive chirped up a bit and my pain has been better today so thought id’e spend the night on the forum, ive been telling everybody all week my breasts are not dropping at all yet, ive just took a pic and i am totaly shocked at how different they are in a week!! They definately are dropping and look much smaller now but allot less like the stuck on footballs i had at week 3, just goes to show it’s so important to take pictures every few days because what you see in the mirror is totaly different to what you see through a head on picture, i still have 1 dropping quicker and 1 quite a bit bigger than the other (had size diff pre-op) but hoping that will change, and also hope my gap will close a bit further i hate my gap, but overall allot happier now than i was half an hour ago when i took the pic!! Ha ha
Top is 3WPO bottom is 4WPO xxx
Claudine they look amazing!!! What size were you beforehand if you don’t mind me asking and which surgeon did you have?
I’m due for my appointment with Dr Traynor in couple weeks time – excited!! X
Oh wow that’s amazing what a week can do. They’re looking fab!! Glad all is okay. I’m being a bit stupid but what is double bubble? I’ve seen it mentioned a few times and I can guess what it is but not sure lol hope you’re healing well hun and happy with the new twins xxx
I think they are looking fab 🙂 still along way to go yet they will look amazing Hun 🙂 xx
They’re looking lush bab, they’ve changed soo much in a week!
Alice i was an empty 34b also had quite a size difference from hourly expressing as my little on was premature so was tube fed in SCBU, they jusy got worse and worse over the last 4 years, i had allways planned a BA from very young though as they were very small, my surgeon is Dr Mounir xxx
Hi Gerda, double bubble is when the implant falls below the line of the bust so you have a doubling effect, i was more concerned o the first day it started as it was in one bust but then it started on the other side, i figured i am pretty unlucky but surely it must be rare to get it in both!! With hindsight i should have called my nurse straightaway would have saved me some worry but i didn’t want to over-react, i’ll post some pics of the over-granulation it might help others it’s not something ive seen anybody talking about on here xxx
Add me if you want Alice i have lots of pics on my profile x
@giraffequeen hi hun thanks for the response. Yeah that’s exactly what I thought but wasn’t sure. Christ I don’t blame you for worrying bit so glad it’s not that.. must have been a very stressful week for you. Hope you’re healing well:) and boobies are looking fab xxx
Hi Claudine, I always look forward to reading your posts, I’ve been following your recovery. I feel for you that you have had a few issues since you had them done and i can imagine how scary that must have been. Your breasts honestly look really, really good and a massive difference from your before pictures they are full and have a really good shape. I’m so happy for you that it was nothing serious on your scars. Now be good and let them heal with no more issues loool.
it is a really scary feeling going through the healing process, every rash, pain, swelling is a concern. I just cant wait until my boobs feel normal, I am really happy with mine, but I feel like they could drop off at any minute 🙂 i feel like i have to walk round supporting them under my arms just in case.
wishing you a happy, healthy recovery hun with no more issues :)) xxxxxxx
