Hellllloooooo my lovelies!
First of all……Sorry…it’s gonna be a long one……I want to be as detailed,accurate and as thorough as possible!!
Right then…..here goes!!

Up and at it at 0400 this morning after showering, washing/ straightening hair and leaving Derbyshire with my partner driving from Derbyshire at 0500!!
Arrived at Clipstone Car Park, Clipstone Mews, London W1W 6BB at 0730! 24 hours £33…bargain however we only paid £28 as we were there less than 9 hours but I’ll come to that later!!!
My admission should have been 0930 (day case) as told by a MYA nurse last Wednesday. Myself and partner walked to hospital from car park….approx 8 minute walk to be told they had me on the list for 0730 admission as Mr.Singh likes all his patients there at one time as he then allocates his theatre space accordingly..I only knew this as I apologised for being soooooo early! We got to hospital at 0755 as I faffed around in the car park…typical me!!! I then filled out administration form and my partner a visitors badge.

I was shown to my room (10) 1st floor at 0800 by Margaret (staff nurse) and shown around etc! TV, bed, call buttons, en suite….with shower. My gown and sexy paper knicks were ready and waiting on the bed along with a dressing gown….it was then that the nerves kicked in biiiiiiiiig time! Also girls….I would take your OWN dressing gown as the hospital one proper smells of surgery! It freaked me out! Within seconds of Margaret leaving another AMAZING staff nurse called MARIA who was my personal nurse for the day arrived with more paperwork and I then did a Urine test to check pregnancy!! NEGATIVE! I then had my blood pressure, pulse and oxygen levels checked…….happy n healthy girly!

Seconds later I met my anaesthesist DENISE……AMAZING!….who discussed the GA and other general questions and filled out yet MORE paperwork!

10 Mins later my boobie God Mr.Singh came in all suited n booted! He did his artistry, 525s written on left breast and asked me a few MORE questions, any concerns and the actual procedure! He immediately put my mind at (slight) ease….he then said he “had a bit of LIPO to do then it’s my turn”! He gave me a reassuring arm around my shoulder and said “I’ll give you a good set”!…and off he went! OMG OMG OMG….This was IT!!….I became all sweaty. nervous, apprehensive and had a few little shakes! I got on top of my bed all dressed up and tried to relax! Gemma23 came in to see me and we chatted for ages as she was in much later than me!! I said goodbye to her went to the loo and MARIA came in and said “Mr.Singh is ready for you Helen!!” This was 0950. I said my goodbyes to my partner, got my dressing gown and slippers on, tied my hair up and and off I went in the lift up to the 2nd floor with my arm squeezing Marias! I was shaking with nerves from head to toe but kept taking deep breaths to calm myself down!

I got in the anaesthetic room and was greeted by another anaesthetist Chris and lay on the bed with Maria by my side holding my hand! I was wired up to monitors and my right leg wouldn’t stop shaking. I was sooooo nervous but not uncontrollable…..I kept thinking “come on H, be brave”!! The theatre entrance door was immediately infront of me (with no windows)…thank God… which kept opening but I just turned my head so I didn’t see! The canula was then inserted (not at all painful……..tiny scratch that lasts 2 seconds) but it wasn’t in correctly so needed to be removed and a new one inserted! 2nd time lucky! Mr.Singh came to see me before I was put to sleepy and gave me lots of reassurance!! He is such a wonderful man!!! I looked at the clock it was 1010. I was chatting to Chris, Denise and Maria as my GA was given……Denise said “you will go a bit drowsy Helen” and I remember saying “I’ve got pins and needles in my head, will I go to sleep soon?”

The next thing I knew I was on a trolley being wheeled into the lift and back to my room with a theatre nurse and Maria taking me. I got in my room and was transferred to my bed where my fella was waiting for me! It was 1135! He had been to Maccy D’s! Lucky boy! I sat up in bed feeling absolutely fine!! No pain at all! I had sips of water to begin with to see if I vomited……I was fine…. I then had a throat sweet as my mouth was sooooo dry! I chatted away to my fella and rang my mum n mates. I then had my long awaited cup of tea!! It tasted like the best cuppa ever! I spent the next 3 and a half hours being monitored, having my BP and pulse rate checked and enjoying my lunch! jacket spud with prawn mayo, fruit salad and OJ!! I was able to get myself out of bed unaided from the 1st moment with Maria by my side initially!!!!…..not in the loo though lol!!!!!!

I was apparently given Morphine for pain when in theatre but had no pain killers whatsoever after I was back in my room!! I felt sooo well and no pain!
Mr.Singh came to see me and discharged me at 1500 saying he was more than happy with my progress and surgery went well and as planned!!
We then left and walked back to the car!!!! Fresh air was great!!! Can’t stop touching my boobies at this point!!Got home at 2000 after a short coffee stop!!

Im now writing this waiting for a curry with a vest top on staring constantly at my twins! My oh my, oh my days….they are feeling tight tonight!!! Not so much painful but more like a big ache!!
I’ve just taken my prescribed anti imflammatories, antibiotics and painkillers!! Mr.Singh says I MUST take these for 5 days! Painkillers as long as I like! I’m not going to bother wearing my sports bra until Tuesday as Mr.Singh said I can remove the strapping myself with a warm hair dryer to release the stickiness!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my new twins and Mr Singh is my knight in shining armour!!! MYA have been fab from start to finish and I have thoroughly enjoyed my day!! It went so so quickly so savour every moment my lovelies!
To all those pre op girlies….honestly you will all be fine and just keep thinking new boobies!!!! You’re doing this for you and your happiness and when it’s all over you will be a different woman!!

Tomorrow I’ll probably be feeling rubbishy so touch wood it’s all plain sailing!!
I would do it all again tomorrow if I had the chance, but with less nerves and I feel sooooo happy and proud of myself and I cant wait to go bra shopping and treat myself!!

Soooo sorry for the essay girls but I used to love reading these boobie stories when I was pre op and now I’m in THE BOOBIE CLUB!
