Hey ladies & gents! I want to leave you all a detailed review of my experience because when I searched here I couldn’t find much so here goes..

I had my surgery today and I feel fine! I had Vaser lipo on my arms, flanks, inner thighs and anterior (front) thighs.

A lovely nurse named Mark stayed with me every step of the way and even held my hand during the procedure (what I remember anyway) I was put under heavy sedation. Any of you worrying about being conscious during this method shouldn’t be because I don’t remember a thing. Apart from the IV going in and asking for the loo after my surgery was completed.

I requested to see my fat after the procedure and it was 2.4 litres which was a hell of a lot so I’m impressed!

In recovery I was a little drowsy and giggly as I was during the IV.

My surgeon was DR Vlok I researched him for sometime and I couldn’t think of a better surgeon for this procedure as it’s his speciality.

When he arrived to doodle on my body he was very responsive to my expectations and understood the importance of this procedure for me.

He aims to please, exceed and go above and beyond your expectations for the procedure.

I can not thank the team enough for their kindness and professionalism.

I am now home and honestly I haven’t stopped leaking which I can assure you is normal. I’m also peeing a lot which is expected. I put sheets down on an air bed which I will continue to sleep on as I can disinfect and wipe down unlike my mattress! As the anaesthetic is wearing off I can feel some very mind burning sensation on my arms similar to a Chinese burn.. my thighs ache like I have been punched and given a dead leg and I honestly feel nothing from my flanks.

The garment is comfortable but tight. I can not wait until Friday when I change my dressings because right now my OCD to cleanliness is making me feel disgusting as I am drenched! As were my clothes when I left the surgery!

anyone thinking of having this procedure should go for it! This was my first EVER procedure and I would do it all over again in a heart beat!

I promise to keep you all updated and anyone wishing to ask anything can contact me via Facebook (iona brindley) I’m not very competent on this page 😂🙈 xxx
