I need help. I am desperate for revision surgery and have been ever since having my operation in December 2018. At my 6 week post op appointment I went to see my surgeon who agreed that my boobs were not right and one implant had infact come out of the pocket was what I think he said, he told me he would pass my details over to the lady to arranges revision surgery and I’d hear back within 4 weeks. The main issue for me was that I fell pregnant shortly after my opp and the surgeon knew this at the post op appointment so said I’d need to come and see him three months after giving birth. I never received a phone call within the 4 week time scale he gave me so just thought I would wait until 3 months after I had had the baby to give them a call. I gave them a call after three months however was then told to call back after 6 months…I was then concerned about this because that would have been over a year after my initial surgery however proceeded to wait after being told this wouldn’t effect anything. It has now been 6 months since I gave birth and I rang the clinic to try and get the ball rolling however they couldn’t get hold of my patient coordinator and told me they would pass the message on and I should receive a phone call. I really hope they do call me back but my main concern is how difficult it is to be signed off for revision surgery. Obviously back at my 6 week post op the surgeon completely agreed with me that they were not right and agreed to do the revision but it is not down to him to sign it off. I just wondered if anybody else has had revision and how bad or minor their case was with regards to the results of the initial op. I am going to attempt to upload the photos today of my boobs and they may help you all decide whether or not you think I’m likely to have the revision I am really hoping for. Thanks I’m advance girls X
