Whichever player has the highest hand at the table wins the pot. The Omaha poker hand rankings can be viewed as follows: Straight Flush (royal flush), Straight Flush (four of a type), Full House, Flush/Straight, Four of the Kind, Full House), Flush/Straight, Three of Kind, Three of Kind, Three of Kind, Three of Kind, Two Pairs, Pair and High card.

Omaha poker is played with a maximum of ten players. Each player is dealt four cards face down. After four rounds worth of betting, each player is dealt four cards face-down. Five community cards are then placed face-up at the table. They are shared equally by all players. The player combines any two (of the four) cards from their hand with the community cards to make the best possible poker hand.

If a player is all in (.i.e. A player who is all out (.i.e. visit here would be formed if players with more chips than the all-in player continue to bet.

After betting has stopped the three community cards are then dealt out for everyone to see, in poker terminology this is called the flop. The situation can now be adjusted by the players and a new round of betting card poker begins. Players have the option of checking, folding or placing a bet if no one has placed a wager. Players can call, raise, or fold a bet that has been placed.

CHECK – If there is no wager on the current betting round, a player may check. The act of checking gives the action to the next player clockwise. A check does not affect your right to place bets, but it does not give up any interest in the pot. If all players have checked during a round, the round is deemed complete.

This is a mandatory betting option that replaces the ante. There are two blinds to a game. The blinds form part of the player?s bet and are rotated around the table.

The ‘token pet” is always added to your pot. The amount of the token pet could range from a few cents to a few dollars. The player can choose the amount of the token pet, but it is up to them. This should be decided before you start playing the game.
