@jaydeeford Hey chick, when mine was/is crusty and blocked with blood and whatever else is up there (!) the nurse told me to boil a kettle and pour a cup of water, let it cool down a but, then use cotton wool ear buds to just gently clean up there. Ive found it loosens it if you just take your time and keep dipping and wetting the blood it softens until it comes away. Be careful though coz sometimes it’s dried around the stitches and you think it’s just a bloody bogey but it’s being held in place by a stitch! Bit ouch if you rub it without realising its attached! Take my word for that!!haha!! I also got given ‘topical eye ointment’ to put on the scars which kills bacteria, although I think that was for when they were fresh cuts. X
