Hi, just wanted to share story I had a BA through MYA Birmingham and had heard some negative comments about phone calls not being returned admission times etc. about two weeks before my BA my pc called to say that the BMI Droitwich was undergoing maintenance works so I would need to go to Preston or change dates. She told me expenses would be covered I agreed to this. Then a week before I was called and told Preston did not do overnight stay and as I was having two procedures (lower eye lid removal) I would have to change dates I was devastated and explained that I had child care time off work partner time off work etc so couldn’t change my pc was really sympathetic and lovely as she had been all along went away and spent ages trying to sort it out for me talking to surgeon clinic mgr and head office. My surgeon who was fabulous Dr Schivone agreed that if I could be first on list and stay overnight in a local hotel he would still perform surgery. My pc then needed to search through all patient notes on that day to ensure that no other patient had allergies as if so they would have to be first on list. Luckily noone had when my pc called back she was as elated as me she sorted hotel and sent confirmation I feel that I had personal treatment which was amazing it was time consuming for her and she had to stop over to sort. Whenever I had a wobble about the op she has spent ages on the phone reassuring me and being like a friend and I cannot recommend her more her name is Cavell Farnell and she is amazing if you are going to MYA Birmingham ask for her I cannot recommend her enough she has been there for me every step of the way communication and customer service has been second to none x
