This is a You-tube cut of a Miss Teen America contestant from South Carolina. She’s answering the question, ‘Recent polls demonstrate a fifth of Americans can’t find the U.S. On the world map. Why you think this really is’?

Once you see it written out word after word such as this, it is even more frightening:

    ‘I personally be..

That is ridiculous. . . It’s an older history, but very interesting in terms of when to talk and when not-to talk.

This can be a cut of the Miss Teen America contestant from South Carolina. She’s answering the question, ‘Recent polls have shown that a fifth of Americans can not discover the U.S. On the world map. Why do you consider this is’?

Whenever you see it written out sentence after sentence like this, it is even more frightening:

‘I personally believe that U.S. Americans are not able to do so since, uh, some people available within our nation don’t have maps. And I believe that our education, like, such as in South Africa and the Iraq, everywhere, like such as, and I believe that they need to, our education over in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so I will be able to develop our future for our children.’

I am thinking she may have gotten left behind.

Keep this clip-in mind in relation to persuasion under the heading of ‘when talking too-much loses the sale.’

Of course, for the most part, we are not persuading hundreds or even hundreds of people, and to be fair, we’ve no idea how hard it would be to experience that type of force. But, out of the fifty girls, only 1 clip is circulating the internet. One other forty nine did not blather o-n insanely.

As our goal is not simply to fill the air with words, persuaders. We make an effort to aim our message directly at what our customers and prospects need. Identify additional resources on our favorite partner wiki – Click here: check out industrial pipe markings.

Of-course, regardless of how pleasing this contestant’s physical type was, whether or not she was attractive enough to win is not the point. She came in third and that truly indicates this was not an intelligence match. She’s maybe not hard on the eyes, only hard on the ears.

Ms. Upton’s ‘response’ towards the issue can be quite a lesson for us:

Less is often greater. If you have no idea what you’re speaking about, best keep your mouth shut.
