I had Marion on the 27th June 2010 at Highgate, London. I was admitted at 11:00am. AND I was so nervous until Marion appeared to go through my pre-op. She is fantastic. She advised me well, was very meticulous and reassuring. In short – I went from a ‘deflated’ B cup to a D cup with 340 implants and I couldn’t be happier.
If you want to know more detail… read on.
This lady really does know what she’s doing, without a doubt. Her advice was great and was given in such a friendly re-assuring and caring manner. After my first consultation with Marion, I was positive that I was going to have 300’s from a choice of 300, 340 and 380’s. However we would decide together on the day. We exchanged a few emails in the meantime.
The day came…
I was admitted at 11:00am AND I was so nervous until Marion appeared to go through my pre-op. Cleverly, she had listened and noted down my first comments when she had asked me ‘what was wrong with them?’, when I attended my consultation. She knew what my expectations/hopes were from this one response. She listened to all my concerns, cared about my lifestyle and even weighed up my ‘other curves’ to ensure that I got the look that I was after. Marion advised me that 340 would be better than the 300 I had intended to go for. I trusted her and I am sooo glad I did.
The staff in theatre were lovely, the anaesthetist was friendly and everyone made me feel at ease. I am the most petrified person in the world when it come to surgery, needles etc. I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I went down at 3pm on the 27th and was out and in recovery by 4:30pm. Yes the England V’s Germany Match was on, and Germany won. Marion came in to see me about an hour after my op her words were “Germany won and you have fantastic breasts”.
After I was pampered to say the least by the nurses, they couldn’t do enough for you. I was given regular pain painkillers, ad was always checked in on at least once (if not twice) an hour. I wouldn’t call it pain – discomfort maybe. Either way, my overnight stay was a ‘pleasure’. I slept a good 6-8 hours. Not because of any discomfort, but for some bizarre reason, I was wide awake… anaesthetic or no anaesthetic.
OK, so on to the ‘dreaded drains’… I did have drains, Marion uses them all the time. Being very squeemish, this frightened the life out of me. Please do not be put off by this, they are not as bad as everyone makes out. Yes, you can feel them coming out, but the staff were gentle and gave me pain relief (I’m sure it was diazepam) to calm me before they did this. I’m not sure what I was so concerned about… I hardly felt a thing and the benefits of having these seem to by far outweigh the so called horror of having them removed – it isn’t at all.
I left at 10:30am for my journey home. The pharmacist gave me plenty of painkillers and some antibiotics, which I took for a week after. My recovery has so far been easier than I expected, I am just approaching 6 weeks and have no problems whatsoever (touch wood). They are softening beautifully, my numb patches are regaining sensitivity.
Above all, my boobs look great. They are the best thing I have ever done. Marion’s work is perfection. Her incisions are tiny and so very VERY neat.
If you send me your email I’ll quite happily send you some pre op, post op and now pictures for you to see her work.
