I am taking care of the weekend (unexpected at that could be ); feeling sorry for myself that I can not get good peaceful continuous amount of time in like I had in the pipeline. I thought I’d write an article on Procrastination since that’s what I am doing now. I’ve more crucial things to do (please don’t just take offence). I am starting much travel schedule so I can post quickly while I’m on the highway so like to have several threads written or at-least roughed out. So writing an article isn’t an awful usage of time. I began considering when procrastination could be good and created various kinds of good procrastination. The rules of Good Procrastination. 1 Procrastinate or-leave some thing if it’s prone to resolve itself if you take no action. Needless to say in this case, it probably should not also be on your list and should not be-a goal. 2 Procrastinate if letting some thing stew may result in an improved solution. In this case, I tend to perhaps not do nothing on it, rather I spend some time to prepare it, think of it, produce a few ideas down etc. A few ideas often incubate better if some thought has gone into it before they’re left. 3 If you must hesitate, do something else in your list that might be lower priority but still needs doing. This is like asking your child, are you wanting to wear the red cap or the blue one. Maybe not would you like to wear a cap. Select from 2 or maybe more projects all that want doing. 4 Procrastinate if you want a rest. Often efficiency is an order of magnitude better have the right energy, imagination and so forth and if you are properly in movement. 5 Sometimes I hesitate about the part of the work by doing small pieces around it. For example, rather than do my taxes (which I hate), I may indeed gather and organize things or create a meeting with my accountant. Pick a part of the job that is not as unpleasant. 6 Procrastinate by performing the more important task. My aunt learned about check this out by browsing Yahoo. This seems counter intuitive since good time-management says you always work with the highest priority task (and you ought to be). What I often find is I’m focusing on tasks that are causing me stress (so I want to hesitate) simply to realize, there are likely other more impor-tant tasks to accomplish that I enjoy doing. 7 Procrastinate if somebody else will probably do it (or if you will get them to do it). Obviously, I never said I was a wedding counselor. Leaving the laundry or cleaning for you partner mightn’t be such a great idea now employing thats another idea. Primarily, in the event that you hesitate, don’t feel guilty. That only detracts from the good of it. Still, working on a thing that isn’t your highest goal too often is not a good practice to get into. Certainly one of my favourite time administration experts, Alan Lakein, states to always ask What’s the best use of my time right now?.. Therefore back again to work..
