My story – 12/02/2012 – Dr Kazzazi @ Highgate for BA

I was due to arrive at Highgate at 9.00am, I arrived nice & early 8.30 am along with my BF for support. I signed in reception and she gave me some forms to fill in, took me about 5-10min to fill them in and i handed them back to reception. 2 mins later the nurse came down to collect me and took me to my room…what can I say the room was HUGE i wasnt expecting that and very very clean! The friendly nurse told me to make my self at home, showing me around the room and said to put on the gorgeous gown and she’ll be back in 15mins. I did soo and she arrived back to measure my legs for the Luvly stockings, we sat and filled in some more forms for around 15 mins. She left and wished me good luck, and said that Dr Kazzazi will see me shortly. Soo i sat around reading mags and watchin telly for around 1hr and 1/2 a bit of a long wait when feeling rather nervous! Kazzazi came in and we filled out yet some more forms, had a chat etc and he drew some lines and circles on my boobs, he asked if i had any questions and said I will see u in about an hour then! Meanwhile chillin in my room the anaesthetic nurse came to say hello and introduced her self she was soo bubbly & friendly. Next thing I new the nurse came to get me and took me to the anaesthetic room, heart pounding by now I lay on the bed chattin to the nurse as she gave me the anaesthetic and i fell asleep within 1 min.
Woke up in recovery with a different nurse, feeling drowsy and kept falling back to sleep, i asked if all went Ok, yes he said. And I was wheeled back to my room on the bed, where I was left for about 20mins, Kazzazi came to see how i was and said he is very pleased, everything went well! Thank U i said and he left. Havin a sneaky peek at my new buddy boobs…AMAZING!!! I couldnt actually believe I had boobs, a fantastic feelin. I felt very good considering what i’d just had done, relaxed and no pain just a little itchy all over. The nurse came bak every 15-20mins to check my bloof presure, all was ok there. Oh yess and not forgetting that the nurse brought me tea, toast and biscuits YUMMY! I was soo hungry and thirsty as i hadnt eaten since the night before, soo was the best tea & toast i’d ever had LoL they also made BF sum too. The nurse said she’d be back around 5.30 to take out my drains, which was a little uncomfortable but not too bad atall. That was it!! I was allowed to go home 🙂 Soo overall an amzing day at highgate and a huge thank u to all the docs and nurses that looked after me on the day!! 🙂
