I emailed my pc,she said it shouldn’t be a problem as long as my gp says I’m stable. She said people get cancelled last minute as they haven’t told the truth about meds. She said the Mya nurse will ring me today or tomorrow to discuss. So annoying having Crohn’s, always hinders things!! X

I only joined this forum yesterday so will have a good read through later on. Last year I told them all what I was taking, I will ring later and ask. I’ve paid deposit, will I get that back if they won’t go ahead,do you know? I’ll be so dissapointed if they won’t go ahead,I’ve booked a hotel and the time off work x

Glad it went well. Because I was planning on having it done last year but in the end couldn’t, I literally rang last month and we booked the date! I’ve not met the surgeon yet,meeting on 20th may so I might stop my meds next week as the op is 5 weeks away! My gp wants me to come off the antidepressants so I might start weaning off those too! Hi, I’m booked in for surgery on 13th June,was ment to have it last year but due to being on steroids I couldn’t go ahead. I was on antidepressants and immune suppresent meds and they didn’t say anything about being on them. I’m still on them now so I’m worried! How did you get on?? X
