I’m 5’9” and I had 430cc and went from a B to an F.

I also plan to go bigger in the future as I too have a long torso and broad shoulders and as a result I feel my boobs still look small.

Without a doubt take the biggest size you’re offered!

I’m 9 stone 3 and I had 430cc partials and personally I think that they are too small for me, but I am 5’9” tall and quite broad framed. I definitely don’t think that 375cc would be too big.

It’s to do with your blood vessels dilating which could in theory cause a bleed but it’s very unlikely.

Kelli our stats are ridiculously similar. Definitely ask him for 400! He originally offered me a maximum of 400 and I now have 430! So he is definitely willing to try on the day to see if bigger will fit. I wish I had asked him to try for bigger than 430 as well, 430 is so small on me!

It all depends on the dissection of the implant pocket – if this is cut more towards the inside of your breasts then the extra 1cm on each one would therefore close the gap by 2cm in total, or if it is cut on more towards the outside of your breasts then the extra 1cm on each one would alternatively sit out more towards your armpits.

Without a doubt the base width will be larger with a 400cc implant than with a 315cc implant of the same profile, but probably only by around 1cm or so. Your nurse will advise you what is recommended based upon how well your incisions are healing. Everyone is totally different, even with seeing the same nurse.

I think that 375cc will almost certainly take you bigger than a large C / small D. I had 430cc and measured 30F / 32E two weeks ago and I am much taller and heavier than you. There’s only 55cc difference which is a lot less than even half a cup size.

My surgeon ordered 3 different sizes for me in advance of my surgery (375 / 400 / 430) and then placed the biggest that would possibly fit in my chest when I was in theatre (430). You could always ask if it is possible to order more than just one size for you on this basis, too?

I’ve been using the Sanex Zero % shower gels since 2 weeks post op. I didn’t directly wash my incisions before all the scabs had disappeared, just let the water and shower gel rinse over them. But since my incisions are now completely sealed and smooth, I’ve felt fine to wash them as normal.

Yeah for sure you’ll measure different sizes in different brands, and potentially also in different styles within the same brand too. Always best to try them on I think. I’m 8 weeks post op now and I’m still not wearing underwires as I was advised not to until I’ve seen the surgeon at 12 weeks and so all my new bras are non-wired for now.

I felt like this at first too but they are definitely more noticeable now. Especially once you are no longer wearing a compression bra – that makes a big difference, too!
