And when I do wake up flat I proper know about it, I tend to feel all sore and uncomfy for most of the day, whereas I don’t if I manage to stay upright.

However I did add another pillow again the other night as I had quite a bit of swelling and stiffness after sleeping laid down. I know sleeping more upright does usually reduce/keep swelling at bay. I’m 2 weeks post op today and most of my body is retaining water. My nurse told me to try light walking and elevating my legs whenever I’m sat down, which actually seems to be helping slightly!
