I’m 13wpo today. I haven’t been properly measured but I’m going to go to Manchester at the weekend as that’s the closest boux to me. I’ve heard a lot of god things about them.

Ok ladies some advise needed!
What is the comfiest post op bra. I have bought a couple of balcony bras but they are so uncomfortable!
What about plunge bras?
I’ve never had trouble buying bras, always went for the most padded but obviously I don’t need any now lol

Did you have unders or overs?
They will defo get bigger regardless of what placement you had.
I had 485cc and mine looked small when I first came out of surgery… as the hours past I could literally see them growing lol xxx

I had stretch marks before my surgery due to having 2 children and loosing a lot of volume. I actually think they are better, in fact can bearly see them now.. they were much worse pre op xx

Yes this is defo swelling. It will go down babe just takes time. Your boobs have been through a lot. Drinking plenty of water help and walking around aswell.. the first few days are the toughest. Once you get past them you will forget all about it and be able to enjoy your new boobs xx

I continued to smoke, I had one before being admitted :-/ they have to tell you the risk of smoking I guess it’s down to us wether we take that risk or not.
My healing has been absolutely fine and my scars are bearly visable so it hasn’t affected my healing.

Hi, I haven’t personally but my friend is booked in for re Aug, she currently has overs and her surgeon has recommended she stays with overs, he said if she changed plane there would be a change that the implant would slip back to her original plane thus not being covered by any guarantee xx

Yes you do have a breathing tube but you don’t know about it. They put it in when your asleep and take it out when your asleep so you don’t even know xx

Hi, I was around a 34B pre op. I had 485UHP overs. If you have a look on my profile there are some pictures on there.
People seem to think that with overs you get the ‘fake’ stuck on look, which isn’t true. Mine look very natural now they have settled down xx

I used the shock absorber D+ my surgeon said it was one of the best bras he had seen for post surgery… very comfy and very supportive I also have 2 M&S high impact sports bras the back fastening one and they are very comfy but don’t feel as supportive as my shock absorber xx

Hi ladies just to give you all the head up, the ann summer ellen non wired bra has been dropped down to £10 as of today.
Unfortunately they don’t do bigger than a DD
Try it on ladies it looks a lot better on than it does on the hanger lol xx

I wasn’t discharged 2hours and 5 mins after my surgery. They said as long as I’d had a wee and eaten and drunk and managed to keep it down I could go… I was fine when I came round tho. Wasn’t drowsy, sick or unsteady on my feet which is all factors they take into account xx

It might be different for me as I had dissolvable stitches? I know every surgeon has different way of doing things but ye I’d ring them just to be sure. I’m only 4wpo aswell and my scabs have only just come off so that could be another reason xx

I had my dressing took off at my 7dpo check and had nothing on since. I was just told not to put soap directly on my incisions and not to have a soak in the bath until I have seen my surgeon at my 6wpo. Xx

I’m 4wpo today an I had 485UHP overs. I think the most recent picture I have is of 19DPO (I haven’t taken any since)
I’m so glad I went with overs because my surgeon gave me the option although he did advise overs would be better.
I have very little gap without a bra and with a bra I get an amazing clevage.

I could lift my arms above my head from day 3 although it’s not advisable. Cooking I was ok to do after about 4 days but as Hannah says things like draining pasta, or shaking the chips in our chip pan I couldn’t do. But ye after day 7 you should be ok to do most things. Just listen to your body. It will tell you if your doing to much xx

Yep same as what others are saying. They say pretty much forever. I can’t imagine not wearing one for bed now lol… plus we have spent all this money on our new boobs so wearing a bra for bed doesn’t seem all that bad if it keeps em nice lol xx

Yep… unfortunately this is normal… I had the same from 1wpo and it lasted about a week maybe a bit longer. Try getting some breast pads that women wear when they are breast feeding that way your bra doesn’t irritate them.. hope it eases soon xx

I didn’t get loads just the odd one but from day 1 I used johnstones baby wipes about 3-4 times a day and just wiped over my chest and boobs. Xx
