I’m 8 days po and I am supposed to get my strapping off today, I’ve had a call as due to the snow they’re not seeing patients today and have rebooked my apt. I’ve almost took the strapping off a few times myself as it’s so uncomfortable and itchy. Has anyone taken there’s off themselves? If so was it all okay? X

No problem! I’m sure your partner will be fine, my mum was stressing but was put at ease by the nurses! My partner was the same hi which is why I didn’t bring him with me lmao x

Hey chick! I’m not sure as I didn’t do the finance with MYA but I’m sure with any sort of finance they do have to do some sort of credit check but they might not look into it as far as a loan or something x

My surgery was around 9:10 when I went under general aneisthetic and I was back in my private room for around 10:30 x

I literally had a Chinese takeaway lmao! My admission time was 8am as I was first in surgery that day! I was only sick once around 5 hours after the surgery but it was only liquid and cause from the general anaesthetic. So I don’t really think it matters what you eat x

Have you looked into interest free credit cards? I paid half of mine from savings but was too impatient to save the other half so I got an interest free credit card to pay for the other half. I’m 3 days post opp from a BA surgery. I still have all my strapping on and taking the meds prescribed, however my left boob is quite numb when I poke around the nipple area where as the right boob I can feel perfectly fine :/ is this normal or something I need to get checked? Thanks x

My strapping is exactly the same as that so it’s impossible to relieve the itching! However I will try ice, thanks!!

Hey chick! I had BA surgery on the 3rd Dec and I am super itchy too! My strapping doesn’t come off until next Monday but I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait that long! Do you find the itching worse than the soreness? How are you dealing with it as I don’t know what to do?
