I just had the full strapping and was instructed not to wear my Macom until strapping removed and that was the best advice as I had blisters under the strapping and the Macom Woul have made that worse. They are just fine! The painful part for me was removing the dressing befure the drains – Like slow wax! The Drains itseld Felt Almost nothing as i was Sore from the waxing feeling! Dont Even Bother thinking about then x

Hey @Kimbarweee I would cover the one that you can see some secretions . If they are dry don’t need to cover them, but try wearing some friendly cotton clothes for your skin. My right incission was red & itchy when I had my strapping off yesterday. The nurse told me this happens sometimes which is true I am a nurse muself and the signs of infection are/ redness/ hot/ swelling / secretions usually yellow/ itchiness. It looks infected. Boil some water and run it on top when cold. Take a clean pad and place it on top and see the nurse asap. Looks like a small infection don’t panic , I see this all the time in my clinic. It will definetly clear off if kept clean and maybe some more antibiotics. X

Hi Steph, hope you don’t mind the add. I am day 5 post op and cast comes off tomorrow. Really worried as the inside of my nose looks like a mess. Some tissue out of place On the right side , really hope will disapear, and I’ve got so much scabs& blood inside. Would love to see some photos. Happy healing xxx

I was taking cocodamol every 4 hours as the pain was bad, now I take every 10/12 hours . Xx

Dear Laura, keep strong. What pain relief have you been given? I am day 4 post op and it gets better every day . On day 3 I was able to move more but luckily my hubby did everything around the house , pulled me up , down , gave Me everything I needed as I could not move much. Feeling better , can’t stay away from the codeine though as right one ( 550cc) hurts where the incision is. Going through your photos could not stop but smile at your lovely red nails with the cannula . Your boobies are sooo worth everything . I bet you cannot stay away from the mirror. Hi girls good luck for tomorrow ! I’m day 2 post op and feel fine. The pain is manageable and as a list of things for the hospital it’s essential that you take: loose open in the front pijamas& discharge clothes, charger , cleansing wipes, toothbrush, small towell, straw, snacks , socks, hair band and lip balm as lips were dry from the anaesthetic x xx

I have had 2 consultations with him so far , seemed really serious , patient and professional. Gave me an honest opinion and did not rush me in taking a decision . Hes a man of few words , I found him lovely .
