I’m two weeks post op and I slept forever for my first week, except from when the pain killers wore off at 6am but was napping daily once or twice a day. Feeling so much more alive now though (: xxx

Showering depends on how you are healing (: yes you can put deodorant on and baby wipe your top half. They will give you all your meds before you left, I was given cocodamol, muscle relaxants and antibiotics. I asked for paracetamol too because a lot of people had commented about how the cocodamol made them feel and I got a pack of 100! I am unlikely to keep them for life I think, if I can I will use the same implants for my next operation but going to avoid having surgery too early.

I haven’t struggled with sleeping too much, I woke up the first few nights in pain and needing pain killers around 6am then sleeping until about eight, I’ve napped most days too, you just need to make sure your pillows are really comfortable and you sleep at a 45 degree angle. I had my op on Thursday and I was very petite and measured a 32a preop, I had 300cc HP unders in each boob and haven’t noticed a difference in my nipples at all except that they are sensitive at times, they haven’t changed size. Hope this helps! xxx

I ordered four signature bras in black two 32 (small) and two 34 (medium), I ordered them close to my op so I can return them because the return policy is 14 days… I usually wear a 32 bra so ordered that size and a size up because I measured around my ribs and I came out at 29 inches… hope this helps! xxx

My BMI is just in the healthy weight and when I saw my surgeon and the my nurse at pre op my body fat was below 10% so I was advised to gain weight for my operation which I have tried my hardest to do but my body fat isn’t in the normal ranges and my op is on Thursday. I’ve just been advised that I have a high risk of rippling. xxx

Hi Claudette,

It depends if you booked a day case or to stay over. If you have a stay over op it’s more expensive.

Are you travelling far after the op? Because I’d advise getting a hotel round the corner from the hospitak if you do.

I haven’t had high blood pressure issues but I have a bad cold and my op is Thursday the nurse has said she needs to contact the anaesthetist and surgeon to make sure I can still have surgery but she didn’t ask what’s up or anything so I’m really worried it’s going to be cancelled! xx

My op is a week today and I just received my admission time. I am having surgery with Linda and she has offered me either 275cc or 300cc under the muscle in HP or Mod Plus. I am around 56 kilos and 5ft 7 but my body fat is around 10% and I am very muscular, I have very little breast tissue and barely fill a 32A bra.

Have you had your op? Do you know where the implant is being placed? I’ve got my op on the 16th November and had my pre op today, I asked if I had to buy a breast band which is advised for unders to help them drop but got told that MYA supply it on the day, so all I need to order is my bras.
