So I’m almost certain I have some fluid in my right breast it’s possibly been there since my op 13 days ago.
Can anyone please advise me on this? x

Couldn’t hurt to show a nurse, the worst she would say is it’s nothing to worry about and keep trying to be patient as your 6 weeks is only 2 weeks away and can even take 3months to see full results. At least your mind would be at ease xx

A fly flew into my face on day 2 and I jolted my whole body to get it out the way! I only took paracetamol and ibrus and I remember feel so sick for about 3 days so hopefully you should be feeling better soon. Just try and drink as much water as possible to help flush it out and keep you hydrated. x

Whitney, seriously there is 110% nothing to worry about, just think of all that worry is all there worry, this is there job which they do day in day out. You should focus yourself on how amazing you will look and feel once it’s all over. xx

Hey Sarah, so glad to hear your doing better and it’s on the mend. Makes life so much easier doesn’t it! I’m doing ok thanks, 7 days post op now. Still very swollen (not sure if that’s normal or some peoples go down by now?) they also feel like bricks but I’m just going with that for now!! Strapping comes off tomorrow eeeek!

Hey girls, I’m pod6 with 300hpu with Mr Kazzazi. I don’t remember anything after the chap was putting the cannula in my hand!! I would persist with ice packs, you’ll gradually find it easier and it should ease swelling and then overall movement. They look great, just remember what they told you about getting up from sitting down and drink plenty of water!

For anyone who may experience the above-.this was just bad swelling due to the accident that I did pulling at the muscles and looked strange due to the strapping. So I’m about to go and get my right boob checked out after possibly damaging it Tuesday (pod2!) it’s swelling is larger and slightly misshaped. (Could be due to strapping?) I would go in armed on Saturday if I was you! Take in photos and date each one, if you think there getting worse day by day then something needs to be done asap. A rupture would get rectified straight away…..

Yes of cause that’s fine. Maybe you might need to use it more often? It is expensive but id still persist with it. In the long run it will help..or so I keep reading anyway! I think the next best thing is laser treatments but that’s pretty drastic!

Thanks for the reply Catherine. It’s weird but knowing somebody else who will be there going through the same thing helps. We should get our times through by Friday but I’d imagine it to be early as there’s only 4 rooms there. I just want to fast forward about 7 weeks!!

I live about 1.5 from where I’m having mine and mya was ok with that as I guess it’s only a few mins difference but 2.5 will be very difficult for you and I would imagine mya would advice you stay in a hotel just incase. Speak to your pc though, maybe if you have a nhs walk in centre close by you have them to fall back on?

my initial consultation got cancelled at the last min too so I wasn’t best pleased. Having said that I’m still sticking to MYA after all the great results I’ve been hearing about…as long as I get the right surgeon to do the job I’ll be happy! New consultation should be next Saturday….fingers crossed!
