Hey girls, I’m 11 weeks post op. The scar under my right breast is suddenly hurting for some reason. Is this normal? The scar under my left breast is fine, quite odd that the right scar would just hurt considering it didn’t before :/

@stephcp They look perfect even though it’s only 7 weeks! I’m 8 weeks post op and I haven’t fully dropped and fluffed yet. My boobs are still very firm but my surgeon did say that it might take longer for me as my chest muscles are very tight xx

I’m 7 weeks post op and I still have tenderness in the sides as well. I also have some numbness but the nurse at my 6 week check up said it was normal. Can’t wait til everything gets back to normal! Xx

2 weeks is still very early – this is perfectly normal. I’m 7 weeks po and mine still haven’t completely rounded out at the bottom as they’re still in the process of dropping. Just be patient and don’t worry about it xx

At my 2 week check up I was told I no longer needed to sleep upright. I could only sleep on my back however i.e. no rolling over to my side. It’s worth calling the clinic just to check though because recovery instructions might be different for everyone x

I haven’t got a before pic – I didn’t notice that one breast was higher than the other before because they were so small. Now I can tell from photos

I had mine done with Dr Fiumara and I think she’s lovely and very professional. Her results are super natural. About the nipple lift, I would say don’t do it if you’re not comfortable with it. I know what you mean about the incisions – mine ache occasionally too and I started to feel that around the 2 week mark (I’m 26 days po). I sometimes get sharp twinges in my boobs, which should be the nerves repairing themselves. The bottom parts of my boobs are still completely numb… I’ve heard it might take a few months for that to fix itself

They look great hun! I have the same problem. I’ve attached a pic of me at just after 2 weeks so you can see – one’s higher but they should even out with time. I got 250 unders x

My op was cancelled a week before the first time round and they forced me to wait a year. Their general rule is 2 years of normal mental health, so make sure you don’t have any record of episodes of depression for at least 2 years in your GP records. I don’t think you’re supposed to do any exercise until 8 weeks post op. Even if you aren’t lifting heavy weights, moving your arms might not be great for your chest muscles, especially if you have implants under the muscle. Probably best to call your clinic and ask them just to be safe x

I’m 13 days post op and worried that my surgeon went too large… I was absolutely clear that I wanted to be a 32B, not any bigger, and wanted a super natural look. Right now it looks huge for my frame! Is this because of swelling? Really hoping they’ll settle into something more natural because I’m freaking out right now 🙁

My surgeon wants me to have the breast band on for 4 weeks ???? It really depends on the surgeon’s preference. I was told it should be quite tight because it needs to push the implants down xx

I think it’s the swelling – it can take a year for your boobs to finally stop changing. Just remember how much bigger they already are compared with pre-op 🙂 happy recovery xx

Haha the tortoise on its back is exactly what it feels like! I’ve tried setting an earlier alarm but it doesn’t quite do it because I’ll still have gone for more than 6 hours without pain meds… Will just have to hope that our bodies get used to it quicker. Happy recovery ladies xxxx

I had my op at Fitzroy on Monday – it’s just an option if your chaperone wants to stay with you. My chaperone waited with me until all the admission stuff was done and then left and came back later x

Sorry to hear abt the pain 🙁 have you got a Macom post op bra? They’re very comfortable and do up in the front. Pricier than some of the other options available but I do think it’s worth it xx

MYA cancelled my op today, I was supposed to have my op this Saturday. Absolutely gutted :'( Their argument was that it has only been 1 year since I saw a GP about depression and I had 2 GP letters stating that I’m stable and can go ahead with the procedure but MYA wouldn’t listen. Really hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else xx
