I was told at my 6 week check up as long as i used spf on incisions sunbeds are fine. No false tan on incisions for a year though x

I was told until the next day. Kept my legs raised with a cushion though when I was lying around and tried to have little walks around the house x

You have around about the same stats as me. Surgeon will tell you whats best though :). I had enough tissue to be able to have overs though xx

@levidolly it will fly by and you’ll have your twins soon enough :). Also don’t worry too much about overs/partials/unders. The surgeon will give you what’s best. I had overs and had no problems at all. Barely any pain, incisions have healed nicely, they look just like normal boobs 🙂 xx

@levidolly I was terrified of the needle! Nearly talked myself out of it on the day aswell cos I had a 6 hour wait. But now all the sickness and everything afterwards was totally worth it.

Yupp thats how they do it. I went to boux and m&s yesterday to get measured and the girl in boux was brilliant but in m&s she was so bad. She measured my back at 32 and tried me in a 32e. @levidolly boux avenue, m&s and debenhams do 30 back sizes. Boux avenue do a few in a 28 back aswell. All in larger cups too. After surgery your back wont change so might be worth having a little look cos wearing the wrong size bra isn’t good for ya xx

Change your bra to one of your others. I found after a couple of days in my macom it just didnt feel comfy anymore. It was just because I’d had it on so long. Try switching your bra every day xx

Your admission time doesnt always reflect your surgery time. I was a day case admitted at 11am but was last on the list and didnt have op until 5:10pm so dont worry too much about your admission time x

I was told by my surgeon the gap doesnt change. Mine looks narrower to me though but not sure if thats just because they havent fully dropped yet x

He may just not think he is capable of doing it. End of the day they won’t do something if they think they aren’t going to be able to give a person the result they want. Thats all im saying. Another surgeon may feel they can give you great results. Just need to find the right surgeon x

If surgeons couldn’t tell people they couldn’t have the surgery then there would be people having it done that really shouldn’t. I’m sure he had his reasons but I would consider a second opinion x

I met my surgeon the day of my first consultation cos he was in the clinic that day. Had my consultation/meet with the surgeon on 4th Jan, booked surgery 5th, pre op a couple of days later and op on 2nd feb xx

Had my surgery on 2nd Feb so im 5 n a half weeks post op. I had 300cc in the right and 350 in the left cos I was a lil bit wonky haa. I was wearing a 30DD before op but surgeon said I had more a C profile n im 5’5 and a size 6/8. Not sure what profile they are tbh i think theyre hp but not sure. They change every day and I love them so much xx

@donetta on her fundraising page she’s also fundraising to start her ‘business’ so she’s not even putting all her money in to that! I genuinely think she’s some sort of scammer. Not a very good one cos not one person would be silly enough to ‘donate’ but still a con artist

I hated mine. They were lopsided and a horrible shape. I took a loan so I could get it done quicker but I’m paying it myself not scrounging. I’m really disgusted by this post and shocked that you can actually make fundraising pages for things like this

Agreed! She’s going on like she deserves it more than any of us. I’m sure we all felt concious about our bodys before our surgery but I wouldn’t dare ask another person to contribute. I wouldn’t even ask my mam!

I could shower from 9 days. At 1 week appt she put new dressing on that I had to keep on for 2 days then I was allowed to shower. Everyones different your nurse will let you know xx

I took them for 2 days. Each time with like a biscuit or some toast. Ended up with such bad pain and was wretching but not being sick. Was so poorly. Rang my GP who said to stop taking them as theyre a preventative and if I got an infection we would deal with it then. Ring your gp and ask advice xx

Pains normal. You were cut open yesterday and had things shoved in your boobs so dont worry too much about that. Your implants can take 6months to a year to fully find their place so be patient they will drop and fluff over time 🙂 xx

I was wearing a 30DD in a balcony bra. No idea what I am now but theyve put me in a 32D sports bra to keep everything nice and tight. Another 3 weeks until I have my next post op and then I’ll go and get measured 🙂 xx

I got so used to them being swollen and then was gutted when my bras didnt fit as well as they had. But now I’m happy with them again haha. Just keep thinking they look like this in a sports bra so theyre gonna look even better in a proper bra hha xx

I am so happy. Pain wasn’t bad at all. Taken painkillers 3 times since having them done that’s it. I struggle with stretching too much but thats about it really. I was last on the list when I was in Preston. Admission was 11 and I went down at 5:10pm. Wasn’t discharged until 11pm but that was because I had a bit of a reaction to the anaesthetic. Don’t worry too much about your waiting time etc. You’ll have your new boobs by the end of the day and that’s all that really matters 🙂 xx

Im 4 weeks post op tomorrow and I can get stuff over my head if i can get one arm out and push it over my head. If i have to pull it with both arms over my head i cant. I also wouldnt be able to unzip/zip anything up the back either cos it just pulls too much. I had overs aswell so would imagine it would be worse if you were having unders/partials x

The reason you have to stop taking it is to avoid blood clots such as DVT xx

Not all surgeons use drains. I didn’t have drains or strapping. Every surgeon is different xx
