I’ve had baths since week 2 and fully submerged, but only because I’m happy the incisions have healed well. Keep a check and if they don’t look right, go back to keeping them dry for a bit longer. I’m now 4 weeks long and all fine. Scabs have just dropped off and the incisions are very neat and tidy.

Lots of early pics look like this.
Mine are also higher than the crease, but I can see that as they start to drop, the scars will become tucked away.
I’m 4 weeks po.
If you’re still concerned, mention it to the nurse next time, she’ll probably be able to reassure you better.

I avoided the codeine and co-codamol as it was that that made me sick.
Ibuprofen was fine, but always eat something with it.
I had 350 UHP unders as I’m quite petite with a small back. So far, I’m very happy with the results, don’t look fake at all.

I wore my Macom on its biggest fastening for the first week, after this I could wear it on the tighter fastening.
You will be quite swollen to start off with so I wouldn’t worry if you have to loosen it to start with.
The important thing is that you are continuously wearing the support.

Oh my gosh, no one told me any instructions, I took them off that night as soon as I got home!
I think it’s essential to wear them whilst you’re not very mobile, i.e. in bed, but you should be walking around and stuff the next day, so I figured it was ok.
I had 2 Caesarians and then was only told I needed them whilst in hospital. Xx

I have 350 unders, they’re sitting a bit high at the moment, but the top has started to soften, so hopefully they’re now dropping.
I’m 2 weeks po today!
I wanted a natural look, so far, I’m very pleased, but curious to see how they turn out. Xx

I had 350 UHP unders, I am very petite, size 6, 30 back, and started very small….
So far, I am very pleased with the results, they don’t look stuck on at all, I’m 12 days po.
Was it unders he recommended?
A second opinion is a good idea, have in mind what look you want to achieve.

I tried to prep my little boy -a large age 2, by trying not to pick him up and encouraging him to walk more in the run up.
It was a bit tricky, but after, I just keep telling him I can’t pick him up, and he has been ok walking.
I’ve just needed to allow extra time to do everything.

My nurse said it’s to drain the fluid down and away from the area, and to help you breathe because the swelling puts pressure on your chest.

I liked that I could just order by my back size and know they would fit afterwards.
Couldn’t imagine fastening the MYA bras behind the back!

I am exactly the same 1wpo!
The trapped wind has gone, but I’m still huge. The nurse said it’s fluid and a side effect of the painkillers/anaesthetic.
Walking has also been helpful to me. Xx

I felt like there were 2 basketballs under my chest for about 3 days, but much, much better now and almost total movement in my arms. X

Beth, I’ve literally just come around from surgery.
I had the same dilemma, as I didn’t want to be too big, but opted for 350s as I figured if I’m putting myself through this, I don’t want to be too small, or end up feeling I need to wear extra padding again to fill my clothes.
I’ll post pics when I’m feeling better, for now so far so good. Xx
