This happened to me at 5 weeks post op! Took my antibiotics for 7 days and then I was given the all clear. Don’t need to go back to mya now unless I have a problem again. Don’t worry about it, they will just be slower at healing than other people’s 🙂

Hi ruby, I had to get the ok from my cardiologist before I could have my surgery and they were rubbish! I actually had my surgery cancelled twice because they just wouldn’t reply! So I have minor and I mean minor heart condition! Sounds big and scary but doesn’t Impact my life at all. Of course I had to tell MYA this and they said it should be ok. ECG just monitors what your heart is doing I guess?? I’ve had loads but I’m just so nervous they won’t let me have it I’m worried when I have the ECG my pulse will be all over the place! Ha x

Thank you so much everyone for your replies. This reassures me! I was worried that I was the only one who had to have these and that mya were going to say no as its too much trouble! Thank you for reassuring me 🙂 it’s just the chasing up of Drs that is so annoying. X x

I have booked my breast au for the end of March. Really happy with everything except MYA want me to have an ultrasound and ECG done because I have a minor heart condition.
