Hiya!

My name is Steph, 27 years old. I’m a mum to a lovely 3 year old boy (lovely 90% of the time!)

Before pregnancy, I was nearly 2 stone heavier and was a 34B/C.

3/4 years later, I am now a very sad looking 30aa.

 

Surgery booked for the 7th of November at London Fitzroy for 400cc, high profile, under the muscle – if they fit :-S

 

 

*Update! 11/11/2019*

I had my surgery done, and had 400cc put in both breasts. 4 days post op and feeling okay; achy and itchy. My breastband is the worst part of after surgery!

*Update 14/2/2020*

I’m now measuring as a 30E 😀

Patient Story

Why did you want the procedure?

I hated the two sizes bigger bras and been hiding behind the bras for years; even wore them to bed!
Why did you choose MYA?

I chose Mya mainly because I saw the adverts about 10 years ago and told myself that one day, I will have surgery done with them.
How was your consultation?

I couldn’t fault anyone there. Everyone has been lovely. I have met some genuinely nice people who truly care about their clients/patients.
How was the day of your procedure?

Due to child care, I couldn’t arrive earlier then 9am to which they considered and offered me a suitable arrival time for me.

I arrived by myself, after having a stressful morning of so many trains bring cancelled, waited in the waiting room for about 10 minutes to then to be shown to my room.

The were a couple of faults I would give, 1 of them would be the possibility of not having your own room. You’re paying for private care, you should at least have your own room!

I was luckily enough to have my own room after the surgery. I waited in a shared room for about 2.5 hours. I was not warned that I could be sharing the same room during recovery.

The second would be one of the nurses, she was lovely, but she kept leaving everything she offered me out of reach e.g my glass of water!
How was your recovery?

Definitely painful! I kept up with my meds, and went into my closest shopping centre the next day. I managed to use the toilet by myself, and had was fine to put my clothes on, apart from my coat! For the first 4 days I couldn’t put my coat on by myself and went outside in the winter with no coat (I didn’t have someone to help me)
Are you happy with your results?

I’m only 8 days post op and they’re a lovely shape. But they are so small! The surgeon and nurse told me they won’t get bigger during/ after drop and fluff and that that’s a myth.

 

I will still be wearing bras that will give me one cup size bigger in the future
