It’s because the pill alone can cause blood clots, surgery can also cause blood clots so they try to minimise the risk by asking you to stop the pill, that’s what the nurse told me. I stopped mine about three to four weeks before surgery and was allowed to start taking it two weeks after surgery. Hope that helps xx

I wonder what size we will be eventually lol. I only got 325cc my max was 350 but Mr Traynor suggested 300 or 325, I thought I might of regretted 300 so went for 325 in the end although to start I had my heat set on 350 xx

Glad to know it’s not just me, I’m 15 days po so didn’t think it would still be swelling. I’m starting to like my boobs but in a bikini they are very much all side boob and not much in the actual middle if that makes sense. They are still quite hard so I’m not sure if they will change or just go soft but stay to the side xx

Sorry for the late reply, I got dissolvable stitches. The nurse said they are healing really well so there was no need for further dressings to be put on 🙂 finally got the all clear to have a full body shower too – still not allowed a real bath at the moment thou. They took mine off at my one week post op appointment and put fresh ones on, went back today for my two week post op and she’s took them off, I didn’t need anymore on this time. Not sure if that’s the norm but that’s my experience, personally I wouldn’t of took mine off myself just incase if infection etc. Xx

I had mine on the 10th. I’ve not been too bad but was woke up during the night with an awful pain that seemed to get worse so I’ve had next to no sleep xx

It might just be the swelling that is making the original bigger breast still bigger. Hopefully once all the swelling has gone they will even out xx

I had mine done on the 10th April and have been taking it easy. I’ve been off painkillers three days now and feel like I’m nearly back to normal minus the heavy lifting xx

I’m 5ft 4, 9st 1 and I chose 325cc hp overs. Everyone says that they look the perfect size, I wanted more volume and shape over actual size thou xx

I was the same but managed to open it properly earlier to have a look. It’s just where the strapping is it’s making my natural boob hang over a bit, I’m not sure if it’s just because of the strapping being tight. They don’t seem to have any proper shape to them, I do have a natural gap but they seem so far apart and a dodgy shape xx

Yeah it sounds like the same as my strapping, I just wondered if yours was similar to mine because it’s hard to see any shape to them at all at the moment with the strapping making my own boob hang over slightly. I do have a natural gap and got told that this wouldn’t change but my boobs just have no shape or anything xx

Hopefully you’ll get a better sleep tonight, I stayed at Preston because we live a few hours away too. Did Mr Traynor put strapping on the bottom? He has with me and my natural boob hangs over it, I was worried about it but when he came round in the morning he said it was nothing to worry about and that once the strapping is off they be a proper shape xx

Leah I know this is random but I had Mr Traynor on the 10th and he used strapping at the bottom, are your own boobs over hanging the strapping. Mine are so far apart and hanging over the actual strapping itself. It’s the first time I’ve been brave enough to open my bra properly to have a look since having them done xx

I haven’t found it too bad, it’s less painful than I thought it would be although 3am this morning I woke up with quite bad shooting pains. I’m mobile just can’t really lift or push anything that’s heavy xx

Hello, I had my surgery 10.04.19 with Mr Traynor at Preston. I had 325cc overs and have made an instagram account if anyone would like to follow my journey. I’m ok thank you Gayle, got discharged this morning and got home around an hour ago. Pain wise I have relatively little and have done since having it done, the only time I had real pain was at 3am this morning when I had to ask for pain relief. Are you staying over night? So far I’ve got some comfy front fastening pjs, lockers for my throat, v pillow and case, hair brush etc and some comfy clothes for travelling back with for the following day xx

I have surgery in two weeks and I got told to stop taking the pill four weeks before hand. If it’s a combined pill then you have to come off it but if it doesn’t contain oestrogen then you can continue taking it. That’s what the nurse said at my pre op, hope that’s helped xx

I wear a 32 but got measured at my pre op as a 29 back so they ordered an extra small Macom which I was shocked at because I thought I’d need bigger than that with the swelling etc xx

I am at Preston with Mr Traynor on the 10th April, still need to get all of my things together to take with me. I have my pre op on Monday. Now it’s getting closer I’m so nervous, I’ve spent twelve years wanting them done and now it’s booked and paid it still doesn’t feel like it’s sunk in properly that it is actually happening and quite soon xx

I was due to have surgery on the 23rd April but I have been able to move it to the 10th April. Is there anyone else having surgery at Preston on the 10th April? I’m booked in with Mr Traynor xx
