Marketing continued until 1999 when a company purchased the rights to the game. Shuffle Master Incorporated made a deal to acquire 3 card poker rights outside of the British Isles. In 2002, the gambling regulations department allowed the game to be played.

The small blind is equal in size to the big blind. The limit you play at will determine the blind amount. The blinds in Texas Holdem are used instead of antes. This allows the eight other players at table to fold their cards completely free of charge.

Hold ’em hands are very simple to play. Each player is given two cards. Following this, there is a round for betting card poker. After betting has stopped on the flop a fourth hand is dealt to all players. A new round starts. This round is known simply as the turn.

If a person believes they have a strong hand or chance of winning one, they will be allowed to stay in the game. These players will place their bets. The player to the left of the dealer starts the betting cycle. They have the option to either check out or place a wager. If they check, they make no bet and the next player has the option to also check or bet, add money to the pot making all players pay to stay in the hand. If the first person bets, the next player can call, meet, or raise the bet to add more. A raise causes other players to commit more money to the pot to play.

The big blind generally has the same stake as the lower stake in a game of poker. The bigblind is to one side of the smallblind, who is to one side of the dealer.
