I just made sure I didn’t carry anything. My surgeon said a handbag was fine but not to lift anything heavier. Good luck with your op x

Mine has this for the first few weeks and it was just my old crease and my skin needed time to iron out and form a new crease. I saw him at Nuffield in Glasgow he is such a perfectionist and very friendly/ easy to talk to. I had to wait a month to get a consultation with him but managed to get my surgery booked for 6 weeks after that. I took it as a good sign that he was as busy. I didn’t go through MYA but my surgeon had also ordered a size up and a size down to see which would fit my frame best. If you are very concerned can your PC arrange a second consult with your surgeon?

I was worried about the gym too but he said as long as you aren’t experiencing any pain and listen to your body that I was fine to go back to lifting weights, running etc.
