Lucy I had a bad time too! I was ok in the op but reacted badly with the sedation cos I needed so much!!! I keeps waking up and feeling Iain. I was so ill and throwing up, for hours! I was at the clinic for 10 hours! Xx

I had mine at Fenchurch. I stayed in a hotel just 5 mins away, the ibis London City. I wouldn’t recommend a long ride home, I was quite ill after and could hardly function for 2 days after. I didn’t have any massage before and was never told to. I had 4 sessions of manual lymph drainage after, it was a bit uncomfortable in the first session but after that one it was fine, i felt loads better after if had it. You will expand a little bit from the garment as its so tight and it designed to keep you all compacted so once you take it off you will just be what you are now because you’re not compressed, does that make sense? Emily, I took off my padded vest just before the 4 week mark, it was discusting and was really beginning to aggrevate me!! I spoke to the nurse and she said i defo didnt have to wear it any longer than i had. Hi amy, ive had upper/lower abs, flanks and upper/lower back done. I stopped wearing the padded vest just before my 4 weeks mark, it was smelly and really beginning to aggrevate me!! I’ve had some MLD already, the therapist I use said it’s better to start soon after surgery to aid healing, works in the U.K. and at the worlds leading MLD clinic in Austria so I trust her and she’s been lovely. I don’t want to scare anyone off but I was in no fit state to do anything lol! I just stayed in an ibis, you wouldn’t be able to drive yourself, you have to have a chaperone with you when you arrive and leave. I had Dr Grant Hamlet, and the results have surpassed my hopes already! Even though I’m only on day 4! He is a miracle worker. And how they work out the cost? There are so many different stories about how much it is and I’d like to know before hand to get a rough idea. Xxx

Hi all I’m in the research phase on having VASER I’m going to book consultations for January at MYA and with The Hospital Group. I want upper and lower abdomen and flanks. Any advice, stories, the truth about recovery would be great. And what is the lymph massage etc. And also how much was it and was it worth it. Xxx
